The Three Gorges Dam is discharging water
The Three Gorges Dam is located in Sandouping, Yichang City, about 38 kilometers from the Gezhouba Dam in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. It is the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Two power stations installed with 26 generators provide an enormous amount of clean electricity. In addition to the electricity production, the dam controls downstream floods and increases the river's shipping capacity. Attraction Intro: Three Gorges Dam

Hi, I'm afraid there is no direct train or bus from Huangshan to Yichang. You need to make a transfer at Yingtan or Nanjing. See the detailed China Train(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/) Schedule and then make your itinerary~
