Hiking is the best kept secret in Hong Kong, it is a great way to appreciate Hong Kong's beautiful landscapes that include mountains, beaches and breathtaking cityscapes. The starting points for many hiking trails are accessible by bus or taxi. Hiking is highly recommended for active travellers who want to escape the modern urban world.

Hiking in Hong Kong is strenuous because of the steep trails, mosquitos and the hot, humid, weather which combine to make even the easiest trek a workout. It is highly recommended that you wear suitable clothes, and bring plenty of water and mosquito repellent. Most local people choose the winter months to undertake the more demanding hiking trails. Another tactic is to take a bus or taxi to the highest point of the trail and then walk downhill.

30-day china tour of Beijing/ Datong/ Taiyuan/ Xian/ Chengdu/ Jiuzhaigou/ Huanglong/ Chengdu/ Dujiangyan/ Li jiang/ Dali/ Kunming/ Guilin/ Yangshuo/ Chongqing/ Yangtze River cruise/ Yichang/ Shanghai/ Hangzhou/S uzhou/ Hongkong

I would like to suggest that people had better do not have such a long vacation in many cities. Just some of the best ones will be perfect, such as Beijing, Lijiang, Shanghai, Hongkong, and stay in one city for at least 3 nights. Otherwise you will be on the plane or on the way to the airport, always. It is frustrating when the flights being cancelled, changed, delayed, and things that you can not expect. Airport is a nightmare for me and my husband.

We enjoyed our trip very much. The food was good and we had the chance to choose what we liked. We loved it so much. But only one thing, when we looked at the menu, we wanted to try as much of them. Consequently, lots of food came to be wasted. What a pity! If you also have a chance to pick your own meal, had better ask the guide or servant for some advice and get the reasonable quantity.
