Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer.
Upon your arrival, our guide will pick you up at the Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) and transfer you to the centrally located hotel. The rest of the day is free for your own arrangement.

Day 2 Beijing
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, A la carte lunch, Temple of Heaven, Kung Fu Show. (B+L)
Badaling Great Wall
Your small group Beijing tour starts today. This morning, our guide will accompany you to the famous Tian'anmen Square first, and then lead you to the Forbidden City, which is also known as Palace Museum, storing millions of cultural collections. After that, we will serve you an a la carte lunch, giving you a chance to taste the authentic Chinese food. It costs CNY 150.00 per person and is included in our price.

After lunch, our guide will lead you to the Temple of Heaven, a place where emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911) used to hold worship ceremonies to the Heaven. Your evening will be highlighted by a Chinese Kung Fu Show in the Red Theater, and the show tells a story of how a little monk grows into a master.

Day 3 Beijing
Badaling Great Wall, Sacred Way, Bird's Nest (drive by). (B)
Our group at the Forbidden City
In the morning, you will be accompanied to the Badaling Great Wall, the best-preserved and most famous Great Wall section of China. Moreover, we specially provide red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall. Afterwards, a jade factory is arranged. Since restaurants near Badaling cannot meet our service standard, lunch is not arranged by us, but our guide is glad to give you some recommendations.

Then, we will continue the tour to the Scared Way, a path leading to the mausoleum of an emperor during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It was also believed to guide the emperor to the heaven after he died. On our way back to the hotel, we will drive by the Bird's Nest which is also known as the National Stadium, so you can appreciate it at a distance.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian
Summer Palace, A la carte lunch, Hutong visit. Fly to Xian. Airport-hotel transfer. (B+L)
Terracotta Warriors, Xian
Today is your last day in Beijing, but you can still explore more about this capital city during the daytime. In the morning, our guide will escort you to the Summer Palace, the royal garden of the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911). Then, you can buy some souvenirs at a local pearl store.

After that, we will arrange an a la carte lunch at a fancy restaurant, which is valued at CNY150.00 per person and is included in our price. In the afternoon, you will explore the original Hutongs to experience the local lifestyle with the company of our guide.

After your Hutong tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Xian. Our local guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 5 Xian
Terracotta Warriors, A local family visit, Home-cooked lunch, Xian Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Show with dumpling dinner. (B+L+D)
Cycling on Xian City Wall
Your Xian small group tour starts with the Terracotta Army Museum, one of the World's Eight Wonders and the largest underground military museum on the earth. After that, our guide will accompany you to a local pottery-making factory.

Lunch will be arranged in a local family, and you can learn how to cook Chinese dishes from the host. In the afternoon, our guide will escort you to the Small Wild Pagoda & Xian Museum. The Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show will be arranged then; what's more, you will be served the famous Dumpling Dinner at the same time.

Tips: Since the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show will be closed in Jan, Feb, Mar and Dec, we do not calculate the price of the show and dumpling dinner for tours starting during this period. Clients will enjoy a free night by themselves.
Day 6 Xian - Shanghai
City Wall, Shaanxi History Museum, A la carte lunch. Fly to Shanghai. Airport-hotel transfer. (B+L)
Our clients learning to make dumplings in Xian family visit
In the morning, you will be led to the landmark of Xian, the City Wall, which is the best-preserved city wall in China. Later, our guide will escort you to Shaanxi History Museum. Here you can appreciate over 370, 000 cultural relics from the Shang Dynasty (17th century BC - 1046 BC) to the Qing Dynasty. Then, an a la carte lunch will be provided in a well-known local restaurant, which is valued at CNY120.00 per person and included in our price.

In the afternoon, the guide and driver will transfer you to the airport to take a flight to Shanghai. Our Shanghai tour guide will wait for you at the airport and send you to the hotel.

Day 7 Shanghai
Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden, A la carte lunch, the Bund, Huangpu River cruise. (B+L)
Shanghai Bund
This morning, you will be accompanied to Shanghai Museum to appreciate more than 120, 000 relics there. Then we will go to a classical garden, Yuyuan Garden, which follows the exquisite architectural style of the Southern China. After that, you will visit a local silk shop and you can buy silk products there for your families if interested. An a la carte farewell lunch valued at CNY120.00 per person will be served then. The lunch is included in our price.

After lunch, you will be escorted to the Bund, one of the most famous attractions in Shanghai. You will also have a short cruise tour along the Huangpu River.  Upon returning to the hotel, our tour guide will see you into the lobby and say bon voyage.

Day 8 Departure from Shanghai
Hotel-airport transfer is on your own arrangement. A pleasant trip home! (B)
Due to different flight schedules, the hotel-airport transfer service is not included, so you will travel to the airport for your leaving flight by yourself. We wish you a nice journey home.

From hotel to Pudong Airport (PVG): Walk west towards Shanghai Railway Station and take airport shuttle bus line 5 in front of the southern square. You will arrive at the airport in around 1.5 hours.

From hotel to Hongqiao Airport (SHA): Take metro line 1 at Shanghai Railway Station and transfer to line 2 at People's Square; get off at Hongqiao T2 and the whole trip may take 30 minutes.
