First, let me express how much I enjoyed my vacation. Their planning and thoughtfulness truly made my journey to China a memorable treasure that I will often remember fondly. I especially want to thank my tour consultants for their time, hard work, dedication, expertise and kindness, which made my journey both delightful and pleasurable. Secondly, let me assure that a very important reason for me choosing TravelChinaGuide was, because they offer small group tours. I personally don't like to travel with large groups. I think this is a very strong selling point, which sets their company apart from other tour business groups and I know many people will be willing to take advantage of small group option. Also, I believe the guides finds the small groups more to their preference because, they can establish a greater, stronger customer relationship. I enjoyed my tour very much and am looking forward to my next vacation. ... More

I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone interested in going to China and I myself will definitely be using their services in the future. Even now that I have returned, I still read your website to learn more about the different regions of China. I will be bringing a group of students for a 12 day tour of China next year. If possible, once they have returned to the United States after their 12 days, I would like to stay for an additional week. If I am able to do this, I will definitely contact this company to make any arrangements. ... More

We are very satisfied with all arrangements. Local guides all excellent. Tour group members appreciated most the chance to visit local family. By comparison, we felt Xian program was standard tourist treatment, but chance to attend calligraphy lecture was a privilege and gave us more in-depth understanding. Many tour members already had specialist knowledge, eg of textiles, Buddhism, etc, and expected to receive more serious treatment than "average tourists". All staff were excellent and most helpful including office staff Kelly. ... More

We would like to thank all the staff at Travel Guide, our guides and drivers, as without your highly professional attitudes and wonderful suggestions we would not have enjoyed our trip to China as much as we did. We trust your company implicitly and we look forward to using your company again.

To Wendy Lee and all the staff goes our biggest thanks!!! For having been always so fast while programming the trip. For having been always so kind in helping to find alternatives when needed. For having helped us changing programme when we were sick. For having been always there close to us day after day, always keeping an eye on us. Thank you, because without you this would not have happened. Thanks for making our journey the best possible one as it has really been! You are very professional people and this I say from the bottom of my heart, as a tour guide, as I am, in this business more than 20 years. This was the best way to close to Chinese culture. ... More

Thank you for a great journey. We had a wonderful time. All the arrangements worked out great. We would like to thank the local guides as they put in a lot of time and effort to make sure we were well taken care of. We loved the configurable group sizes you work with. Our group was a great and we were continually reminded how difficult it could have been to journey with a large group, by some of the other tours we bumped into through out China. For those of you reading this to try to decide if you should take a tour with Travel China Guide, I would highly recommend it. The arrangements were flawless. I arranged our trip completely over e-mail and only met Lexi when we visited Xian. ... More

Not only was the trip well planned, it was implemented flawlessly. From the moment we were met by our guide and driver in Beijing, everything proceeded like clockwork. Every flight took off on time or nearly so, every guide was there waiting for us at our next destination with a cheeerful smile on his or her face, and every hotel had booked our reservations as outlined in our itinerary. Our guides made sure we were properly ticketed and escorted us to the security check-in at every airport, and they made sure we had excellent seats for each of the shows that were included in the tour. We could not have been more pleased at how well things were handled.
Our guides and drivers were all very good. While their English was less than perfect, for the most part, they understood us and we understood them. Every one of them –3 in all during our 8 day trip- was very knowledgeable and eager to answer my many questions. They all had cheerful personalities. We were particularly fond of La Mu who was our guide for 2 days in Shanghai.
With regard to meals, Ellen and I are generally easy to please. We very much enjoyed the opportunity to taste many of the items which are not that common in our country, such as eel, tree fungus, yak, etc. I'm not sure you will find very many westerners as willing to experiment with different foods as we are. Our Peking duck in Beijing were excellent, the dumpling banquet in Xian was tasty, and the buffet breakfasts were all outstanding. Overall, however, I'd say we probably enjoyed our Cantonese food in Xian the most. Our only concern was that we were always given too much to eat.
Now for the hotels. In general, we are quite satisfied with five star facilities. Thank you both very much for your efforts.

We have just got back from the most wonderful holiday. Everything has been perfect, the only imperfection being the fact that we do not have enough time to stay longer here. I must comment on Candy, our guide in Beijing and Jacky our guide here in Xian. They are both outstanding. Candy made our stay in Beijing most memorable and her knowledge of the places we visited excellent. Jacky too is extremely knowledgeable and like Candy has a good sense of humour. Any doubts I may have had prior to leaving dissolved as soon as I got the Hong Kong to Beijing Dragonaire ticket the moment we checked in to our hotel. The guides and drivers through out the journey were excellent but special mention must be made of the following guides, Candy in Beijing, Jacky in Xian and the following drivers, Mr. Chan in Beijing, Mr. Lee in Xian and Mr. Su in Shanghai. They had a special sparkle to them that made their contribution outstanding. The hotel in Shanghai had a very friendly staff, who communicated with us very successfully by sign language. The hotel there was what we had anticipated and we were not disappointed by it. Finally we have to thank both of you for being so extremely efficient in arranging this for us. ... More
