We did the 8 day tour , Beijing, Xian, Shanghai. Actual tour is 6 days but that is enough if you can a taste of China and the historical sites. We enjoyed every moment, the history provided by the tours was excellent. We recommend TCG to all my friends. Accommodation Food, itinerary were all of high standard. Just a sidenote so you are warned, this has nothing to do with the tour company, the public toilets are below standard and there is much pushing and elbowing.

Our trip was excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend your company to anyone looking to have a small taste of China but I would have to warn them that one trip may not be enough and not be surprised if they start looking at the travel planner again with Travel China Guide.

This was our first trip to China, and we would definitely recommend Travel China Guide to anyone planning to go to China. Our travel consultant, Kelly Wang, was extremely helpful in helping us plan our trip. She was able to answer all of our questions in a timely manner.

All the hotels were excellent and all provided bottled water. The breakfast buffets offered lots of choices (American and Chinese food). Tour buses were clean, had a/c, and were operated by good drivers. Tour guides had bottled water for us every day. Meals in the restaurants were very good. Lunch with a local family in Xi’an was the best!

One of the highlights of our trip was going up to the observation deck on the 118th floor in the Shanghai Tower. The elevator ride was only 55 seconds! The views at night were fantastic!

Our guides (Cool in Beijing, Celine in Xi’an and Chris in Shanghai) were very knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke English very well. We enjoyed all the places we visited and had a very memorable trip.

Travel China Guide is indeed a real company. We were first quite worried that it was a bogus company. So we researched the proper newspaper websites as mentioned on the website for the indicated articles. Later we also discovered a link to TravelChinaGuide on the website of the "Consulate General of China" in San Francisco. All other /additional questions we had were always answered promptly. (the same day or maximum the day after.) About 10 days before our departure we got the e-ticket for our first leg of the journey. Once we got our baggage and were on our way a guide promptly picked us up at the airport. It turned out to be a real pleasure traveling in China with TCG. All the guides spoke English very well and the accommodation (5 star hotels) were always very good. We also thoroughly enjoyed the food. Since we like Chinese food we always ate Chinese food even though we had many choices of eating Western food too. Overall, we would recommend Travel China Guide to our family and friends. This tour is going to be a memorable experience for a long time. We think we have seen a good deal of China and learned a lot about its history and people. ... More

Thanks for a wonderful vacation. We were very impressed with the assistance and patience they gave us to plan the route which allowed us to evaluate several options. The itinerary was most professionally arranged. All our guides were very prompt, helpful and knowledgeable of the tourist sites we visited and most importantly, about the cities, people, industries and history of their area. We had no problems talking to them as they spoke and understood English very well. The Hotels, meals and vehicles they chose were all of the highest standard. We will certainly recommend Travel China Guide to our friends. ... More

The overall impression of the organisation is quite good. You didn't deceive my first impression, that you were serious and concerned about the well-being of your clients.

The meals were quite good. I particularly enjoyed the duck meal and the dumplings. It was delicious. The only thing I have noticed is that, in Beijing, most of the set menus were composed with egg fried rice. It was delicious, but it is not bad to change sometimes. In Xian, I appreciated the method. They were menus and you could be at liberty to choose what you wanted. The meals in Shanghai were the best. The hotels In Beijing and Shanghai were perfect. In Xian, it was quite good, not as good as the previous one, but the staff was very friendly and ready to help. I had two good guides: Kevin from Beijing, he was willing to help at anytime. His English and his knowledge are good. The second good guide I had was Tracy from Xian. Her English and her knowledge are good also. However, I suggest your tour guides to inform themselves about the economy of their country and other areas, because when it was about history, they were very good at giving the answers, but when it was about some other areas, the answers weren't always satisfactory. I asked why China vehicles are not exported, because I really liked Chinese cars, and I was wondering why most of the cars exported are from Japan; I didn't really get a satisfactory answer. The drivers I had were very respectful and good, and the cars were always clean.

That are my comments for that memorable stay in China. I really appreciated the way everything were organised. Nothing is perfect in this world, but I am really happy to see that you are willing to did your best to satisfy your clients. Thank you.
