Day 1 Arrival in Bali, Airport Pick-up to Kuta
When you arrive at Bali airport, your personal assistant will meet you there and an experienced local driver will transfer you to the hotel by private car. After settling down, you could enjoy the rest time of the day and get ready for the following tour.

 Recommendations for Early Arrivals
Spend some time exploring the surroundings on your own. Stroll around Kuta Art Market to discover exquisite handicrafts and fancy clothes. Take a leisurely walk along Kuta Beach and enjoy the boundless orange and pink sky at sunset. The beachside Boardwalk Restaurant Bali (Jl. Kartika Plaza Jl. Kartika Plaza, Tuban, Kec. Kuta) is worth a try. Sample some Indonesian food and drink the local Bintang beer to enjoy your first night in Bali. The average cost of the restaurant is about USD 7 per person.

 SIM Card or eSIM Card
If your smart phone supports eSIM card, you could purchase an eSIM plan of Telkomsel before leaving home so that you could connect to the network and start using data upon landing in Bali. If you prefer a more affordable choice, you could buy a SIM card of Telkomsel or XL Axiata at the airport or a convenience store. The popular tourist prepaid plans include: 10 GB of data for USD 3 and 25 GB of data for USD 9, both valid for 30 days.

 Health Tips
Please avoid drinking tap water in Bali to prevent catching “Bali Belly”, including not using tap water to brush teeth and not having drinks from street vendors. You could bring a bottle with a built-in filter or drink bottled water only. Besides, there are lots of mosquitoes and bugs on the island which may carry virus. Carry a mosquito repellent with you to prevent yourself from getting bitten.

Accommodation: Kuta Beach Club Hotel (4 stars) or similar

Day 2 Kuta to Uluwatu Sightseeing: Melasti Beach, Padang-Padang Beach, Uluwatu Temple
Today, your professional guide and driver will take you to Melasti Beach, one of the most pristine beaches in Bali, with crystal-clear sea water and sun-kissed white sand. Enjoy sunbath while lying on the beach, and listen to the sound of the soothing waves. We’ll next head for Padang-Padang Beach, a paradise for surfing enthusiasts. It’s famous for being one of the movie sets of Eat, Pray, Love. The beach is dotted with a lot of rock formations, contributing to the natural beauty here.
Tips: Don’t forget to apply sun block lotion to your body in the morning to protect your skin from the strong sunlight. Bring some change with you in case you want to buy food or water on the beaches.

In the afternoon, let’s visit Uluwatu Temple, which is located on the edge of a 70-meter-high (230 ft.) seaside cliff. Overlooking the waves and jungles below, the temple is a harmonious combination of natural beauty and historical culture, offering unparalleled scenery of the Indian Ocean. At dusk, enjoy the traditional Kecak Fire Dance, which is accompanied by the dancers’ voices and performed against the backdrop of the blue-orange sky. After the show, we’ll send you back to the hotel.

Day 3 Kuta - Tanah Lot Temple - Jatiluwih Rice Terraces - Ulun Danu Bratan Temple - Ubud
Today, your guide and driver will accompany you to Ubud, which is known as the art capital of Bali, and drop by some of the landmarks in Bali. First, we’ll visit the well-known Tanah Lot Temple, which is located on a huge rock by the sea and was first built in the 16th century. Tanah Lot is literally “Land in the Sea”. Every time the tide rises, the whole temple will be surrounded by the sea water and visitors can only get to the temple during the low tides. Lush green trees and vines embrace the building, making the temple a peaceful harbor in the azure sea water. Then, we’ll proceed to Luhur Batukaru Temple hidden in the thick tropical rainforest. The sacred temple enshrines the God of Batukaru Volcano, offering a good place to find inner peace and immerse in the natural atmosphere. Our next stop will be Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, one of the largest and most beautiful rice terraces on the island that can date back to the 9th century. Farmers are doing their daily routine in the fields under the blue sky, with green rice waving in the breeze. Appreciate the picturesque scenery and breathe in the fresh air.

We won’t miss the charming Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, which is located by Lake Bratan and is surrounded by green mountains. The temple comprises 4 buildings in semi-Buddhist and semi-Hindu style, all of which look holy and serene in the mountain air and fog. The 11-level Pura Puncak Mangu is a popular spot which can often be seen in postcards and photographs, and is also the background picture of the 50,000 Indonesian rupiah bill. The last place we’ll visit today is Taman Ayun Temple, a UNESCO listed World Heritage site. Built in 1634, it used to be an important site for the royal family to worship and hold ceremonies. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and a moat, housing a large orange gate and several 11-story pagodas. Upon arrival in Ubud, you’ll be sent to the hotel for check-in.

Day 4 Ubud: Sacred Monkey Sanctuary, Ubud Palace, Tirta Empul Temple & Tegalalang Rice Terraces
You’ll have a wonderful Ubud trip today. First, go to the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary which is home to hundreds of Balinese long-tailed macaques. The monkeys are specially fed and temples and statues are set up in the forest to worship them, as the residents of Bali believe that the monkeys are the subordinates of the Monkey God Hanuman. Walk along the shaded stone-paved steps and moss-covered pathways, and get up close to the energetic creatures. Keep a safe distance when interacting with the monkeys since they might grab your belongings. Thereafter, pay a visit to Ubud Palace in the downtown, which still serves as the residence of the Ubud royal family and is not fully open to the public. Walk slowly through the ornately decorated doorway, and admire the intricate stone carvings and glittering architecture.

Next, we’ll drive to visit Tirta Empul Temple, one of Bali’s most famous temples, which is built around an underground spring in the 11th century. Approaching the temple, you could see many Candi Bentar - the split gates usually found in religious sites of Bali. There are 3 sacred pools respectively for women, men and children, with fountains to cleanse the worshippers’ mind, body, and soul. After the spiritual journey, we’ll go to Tegalalang Rice Terraces, one of the most scenic spots in Ubud. Interspersed with tall palm trees and colorful flowers, the lush rice fields look idyllic and peaceful. The nearby Alas Harum is a popular Instagrammable photo spot with giant jungle swings and stone statues, where you could experience and take photos. After that, you’ll be escorted back to the hotel.

We’ll transfer you to the harbor of Bali for your fast boat to Gili Trawangan, a pristine island with unspoiled natural beauty. Upon arrival, we’ll arrange a horse cart called Cidomo to take you to the hotel, since there are no cars and motorbikes on the island. After check-in, enjoy the afternoon on your own. You could take a dip in the swimming pool of the hotel, or ride a bicycle along the coast line to explore the island and enjoy the breathtaking sea view.
