Zhujiajiao is a folding fan shaped town, laid among gleaming lakes and rolling hills. It was once a flourishing town well-known for its fabric and cloth industry. At the end of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the beginning of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), this place become a rich town, abundant in rice, with busy long streets full of shops.
