What to Expect
Shanghai Tower, China's highest and the world’s 2nd highest building, is 632 meters (2,073.5 feet) high. There are 119 floors on the ground. The shape of the building is similar to a spiral guitar pick, each one floor twisted by nearly 1 degree.

You can directly reach the sightseeing platform on top floor by the high speed elevator, with a highest speed of 18 meters (59 feet) per second and 55 seconds on average to reach the top floor. If you go down, the speed is 10 meters (32.8 feet) per second, and you can reach the first floor from top after about 70 seconds. There are three such super-high-speed sightseeing elevators.

The sightseeing hall is located on the 118th floor. It has a triangular ring layout and is covered with a large transparent glass curtain wall, which can overlook the city of Shanghai in 360 degrees.

On weekends, holidays and some special occasions, you can enjoy colorful and changeable light shows on Shanghai Tower in the distance.

How to get to Shanghai Tower
 By metro:
Take metro line 2 and get off at Lujiazui Station. Come out from Exit 6 and you can find it at your south.

 By bus:
a. Take the bus 791, 870, 961, 985 and get off at Lujiazui Ring Road Dongtai Road Station.
b. Take the bus 583, 799, 939 and get off at Huayuanshiqiao Road Dongtai Road Station.

    Travel China Guide took the stress out of my trip to Shanghai Tower; by-passing the long queue we jumped ahead of a big group and were able to enjoy the views in more peace and comfort. Excellent service!

    Booked the ticket to Shanghai Tower online - it was such a great visit. It was on a special discount that week so still worth it despite the extra booking charge.
    You have to book at least one day in advance but it means that you can skip the queue at the ticket counter. Go straight to the entrance n the staff there will issue you a ticket for your tracking no. Shanghai Tower was amazing
