How to Book and Use

1. Book & pay online, get email confirmation with confirmation and voucher numbers, use the confirmation and voucher number to redeem paper tickets on the automatic ticket machine.
2. Travelers in one order should enter the site together.
3. The ticket is only valid for the selected visiting date.
4. The site would close one or part of the activities due or cancel part of the shows to bad weather. All the details are subject to site’s announcements.

Change & Cancellation

What to Expect

Splendid China - Folk Culture Villages is famous for the 82 miniaturized attractions, gathering all the famed scenic spots in China, such as Great Wall, Forbidden City, Terracotta Army, Yellow Mountain, Huangguoshu Waterfall, Earth Towers of the Hakkas, and so on. Most of them were built in a proportion of 1:15. You can see all those attractions on the same day. It is so amazing!

On daytime, Splendid China - Folk Culture Villages is attractive with various flowers, trees and ethnic buildings. At night, it’s more charming as these beautiful things are decorated with fancy colored lanterns and lights. It is definitely worth viewing the night scene here.

You can enjoy the folk performances at different ethnic villages. The performers of each village will show you their distinguished customs with a moving legend. You can learn the history, traditions and folks that feature in their nationalities. The folk dances of Dai people and the reproduction of Mongolian Nadam Fair on the vast grassland are the best that make visitors indulge in.

In the afternoon, you can also enjoy another performance comparable to an action movie. Legend of Desert is a war-horses show representing the dangerous situations where businessmen passed through Silk Road in the history and fought for injustice. From Tuesday to Friday, you can watch this performance for free.

You may pay a little extra fee to watch other two grand performances. In the evening, there is a dance performance to show Chinese traditional costumes of each ethnic groups. At night a folk show will be held employing folk arts and skill, which will let you fully experience the gorgeous Chinese culture.
