Reservation
1. Tickets are released 20 days in advance; we will book the tickets for you as soon as they are available.
2. Your valid Passport/ID information is required for booking, and one person can only book one ticket per day.

1. Book & pay online, get email confirmation, show your passports at the Ticket Redemption Office.

2. The ticket is only valid for the selected visiting date.
3. If you ticket includes a boat ride, the boarding address is at 77#, Xijing Street, Zhujiajiao.

Change & Cancellation
1. Free cancellation if sending the request by email 24 hours before the designated entry time.
2. After the ticket is issued, the service fee is non-refundable.
3. Partial cancellation is not accepted, tickets in one order have to be cancelled together.
What to Expect
Shanghai Jing'an Temple is one of the oldest temples in Shanghai. It is said that Jing’an Temple could be traced back to the 10th year of Chiwu in the Three Kingdoms, namely in 247, firstly named as Hudu Chongxuan Temple. In the first year of Xiangfu, namely in 1008, a man called Song Dazhong changed its name to Jing'an Temple. Nowadays, Jing'an Temple has become an eminent scenic spot in Shanghai where a continuous stream of visitors come to pray for their family every day.

The eighth day in the lunar month in 2015 was the day when Sakyamuni became a Buddha, which is known as the "Magic Festival", one of the grandest Buddhist festivals. Shanghai Jing’an temple start to hold the meeting of Sakyamuni Buddha Conversion Day and provide Laba porridge free of charge to all the laity since that day, sharing the blessing and wisdom of Buddha.

How to get to Jing'an Temple
 By metro:
Take Line 2 or Line 7 and get off at Jing'an Temple Station. Leave from Exit 1 to the temple directly.

 By bus:
a. Take bus 15, 20, 37, 40, 45, 57, 76, 93, 94, 113, 315, 321, 323, 327, 330, 824, 830, 838, or 927 and get off at Jing'an Temple Station.
b. Take Pudong Airport Shuttle Bus Line 2 to get there directly.
c. Take City Sightseeing Bus to get there.
