As I know, there are several restaurants and fast foods in that airport. You can easily find them. Don't worry.

Is it east to travel Yunnan on your own
I’m a senior and would like to see Yunnan and Sichuan. I’m interested in scenery and culture of its people. Would like to do some easy hiking. Is it feasible for me to do it by myself and book hotels as I go along? I have a rough itinerary and know what I’d to see and do.

Yes, it will be ok for you to book accommodation by yourself. But if you want to visit some famous and popular scenic areas, you are suggested to book the hotels in advance.
