Day 2 Pyramids of Giza, Sakkara & Memphis
After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel. First, we will visit the colossal Great Pyramids of Giza, consisting of Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure as well as the Great Sphinx. Then, head for Step Pyramid of Sakkara, the first pyramid ever built in Egypt, 62 meters (203 feet) tall and six-storied. Finally, your guide will take you to the Memphis Museum, a small museum to find the giant statue of legendary Ramses II lying on its back; there are also many relics scattered outside, all unearthed from Memphis, the capital of ancient Egypt. Later, we will take you back to your hotel.

► Insider Tip: Go Inside the Pyramids or Not?
It would definitely be a remarkable experience to enter Khufu Pyramid, the world’s largest pyramid, to see the pharaoh’s secrets for yourself! However, you need to be physically strong enough to explore it, as you are going to face challenging narrow steep steps and muggy air, so it’d not be a comfortable experience unless it’s on your bucket list. Thus, please consider your physical condition - and local weather conditions - before making your decision. The extra ticket costs EGP400, about USD15, for getting inside, which is sold at ticket office by the gate.

Day 3 Cairo City Tour with Egyptian Museum
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel and take you to the Egyptian Museum. There are more than 120,000 relics in the collection, telling stories dating from ancient eras ruled by Pharaohs to 6th century AD. Here, you will find mummies, elaborate sarcophagi or stone coffins, and the famous golden mask of Tutankhamun, just to name a few.

Have lunch at a local restaurant, and continue our trip to Salah El Din Citadel, which includes the famous Mohamed Ali Mosque and some palaces. The final stop today is Khan El Khalili Market, located in the center of the Islamic Cairo, where you can browse in various stalls for a wide variety of souvenirs.

For the rest of the time, you can either hang out or simply have a rest. Amman, the capital of Jordan, is called the "White City" for the limestone buildings dominating the area.

► Want to see more in Egypt? Here are some suggestions from TCG
1. If you want to see more of Egypt's major historical sites but can’t bear long-time land transfers, it's recommended you add a Nile Cruise between Aswan and Luxor, which extends your trip in Egypt by 4-5 nights.
2. If you are a history buff but too busy to spare much time, it is recommended you add Luxor - known as “the open-air museum of ancient Egypt” - to this itinerary, which extends your trip in Egypt by up to 3 days/2 nights.
3. If you desire a beach vacation, don’t miss the sunny beaches and world-class diving sites along the Red Sea. There are three coastal destinations we highly recommend:
● Sharm El Sheikh: Boasts many 5-star resort hotels and a Ras Mohamed National Park, acclaimed as the most beautiful site by the Red Sea.
● Dahab: Unlike the luxurious hotels in Sharm El Sheikh, lodgings here are mostly guesthouses and boutique hotels with lower prices. The world’s famous diving mecca - Dahab Blue Hole - is also located here.
● Hurghada: Enjoys convenient transportation system, plenty of hotel options, and much more entertainment activities, like deep diving, snorkeling, glass-bottom boat tour, desert exploration...

Day 5 Amman City Tour, Private Transfer to Petra
After breakfast, your English speaking driver will take you from the hotel to the Roman Amphitheater, an imposing theatre built into a hillside in the second century and still being used today, as an open-air concert venue. Then, hike to the Amman Citadel, which witnessed the history of Amman being occupied by many great civilizations including the Roman and Byzantine empires. Perched on the highest hill of the city, it offers a superior vantage point to overlook the old buildings far and near. We will then tour around inside Jordan Archaeological Museum and Umayyad Palace, an eighth-century palace complex featuring an impressive domed entrance chamber. After that, take a 2-hour drive to the ancient city of Petra.

Day 6 Petra Visit & Wadi Rum Tour (120 km/75 mi)
Today, we are going to tour around Petra Ancient City, once the capital of Nabataean Kingdom, nicknamed "Rose City" for its pink rock-cut buildings scattered almost everywhere. We will have a ride on horse from the entrance to Siq canyon for about 700 m/0.4 mi (Note: You don’t have to ride the horse, but please note that if you take the ride, the horse handler would expect JD3-JD5 per horse for tip), a narrow canyon stretching its way to Petra's most extraordinary ruin - a 2,000-year-old sandstone temple called Al Khazneh. After the visit to the temple, enjoy some free time to walk along the main street of Petra and explore other popular sites like Royal Tombs, the Theater, and Qasr al-Bint, a free-standing temple with a façade being the largest of all temples here.

► Insider Tips For Petra:
● The weather in Petra is hot and dry, so drink a lot! You might want to buy some bottles of water in advance, since the price per bottle here would sometimes be 10 times higher than those sold outside the scenic spot.
● Say “No” to any suspicious services inside Petra. Right out of Siq, you will be greeted not only by the magnificent Treasury, but also by all manner of "guides", who would ask if you’d like a horseback riding tour to capture the best "Treasury View", or do whatever they can to ask you for money. In these cases, just refuse them by saying “no”.
● As Petra is a very large area to stroll, don’t forget to put on a pair of comfortable shoes. Also carry a small backpack for water, camera and other personal items.

In the early afternoon, we will drive 1.5 hours to Wadi Rum, the “Valley of the Moon”. After arrival, go for a desert jeep tour to sightsee its spectacular landscape, made up by marvelous sandstone hills, canyons, and red-orange sands. If weather permits, you may seize the chance to enjoy one of the most gorgeous sunset in the world. Dinner and overnight at the campsite on the desert.

► More information about the Camp:
● Each room is equipped with air conditioning system and a separate toilet with hot water for bathing. But it is suggested you bring towels and toiletries.
● This tour package includes only regular rooms; you may consider upgrading to Martian/Bubble Tent (50 m2/538 ft², with panoramic window and private terrace) for an additional fee. Please contact your tour consultant in advance if interested, as the Tent is very popular among tourists and tends to be booked up always.

Day 7 Private Transfer from Wadi Rum to Dead Sea
Today your driver will send you to the Dead Sea, a 3 hours' drive away from your campsite. After arriving and checking into the local hotel, enjoy a whole free afternoon to explore the Sea and around. 423 meters (1,388 feet) below the sea level, the unique hypersaline lake is the lowest point on the surface of the earth, featuring a magic for body to float on it and benefits for health. You could also enjoy a Dead Sea Mud Skin Care while reading a book or newspaper.

► Tip:
Most hotels with direct access to the beach of Dead Sea would close the access or their private beach after sunset, which is to ensure the safety of visitors (possibly because lifeguards are limited). So please arrange your playtime accordingly.

Accommodation: Holiday Inn Dead Sea Resort or similar
Day 8 Border Crossing from Dead Sea to Jerusalem
Today the driver will transfer you to the Allenby Bridge for the border crossing to Israel. Your driver guide at Israel will pick you up from the border and send you to the hotel at Jerusalem for check-in. Have a good rest for the remaining hours of today.

► Tips for Border Crossing:
● It usually takes at least 2 hours to cross the border, and it can extend to 3-4 hours if we take the customer officer’s job into consideration.
● When leaving the border on Jordan’s side, you need to pay a departure tax of JD10/USD14.
● As the Israeli customs would ask you a lot of questions, such as “Did you pack your luggage yourself?”, “Did you bring anyone a gift?”, “Which hotel are you going to stay at in Israel?”, etc., you’d better not carry anything for a stranger since it may get you into a lot of trouble!
● After the interrogation, the Israeli customs will print you a blue slip of paper, which is required for hotel check-in, so don’t lose it!

Day 9 Jerusalem Old City Tour
After breakfast, your driver guide will greet you at your hotel lobby and take you to the Mount of Olives, where many biblical events happened and providing an overlook to the entire city. Then, head to the Western Wall, also called the Wailing Wall, in the Old City of Jerusalem, the most sacred place of pilgrimage for Jewish people. The Old City consists of four parts: the Jewish Quarter, the Armenian Quarter, the Christian Quarter, and The Muslim Quarter. Your driver guide will lead you to knock around the four quarters and visit the famous Holy Sepulcher Church, recognized as the site of Jesus's crucifixion and resurrection, and Al Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site of Islam believed to be from which Muhammad was taken to Heaven by Gabriel, the archangel that delivers the God’s messages.

Next, your driver guide will lead you the Mount Zion to tour the King David's Tomb, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey, the final resting place of Virgin Mary.
