I'm a native Shanghainese and haven't been there since I was a little girl. Totally worthwhile. There is Zhuozhen Garden in Suzhou, but Yu Garden is right here in Shanghai. Go there and forget about your troules and stress. Enjoy the greenery and delicate architecture. It's a mustsee in Shanghai.

Everything was good, but price is a bit higher than at the venue. I believe it is 50% more than the entrance price. Normally online is a bit cheaper.
