Day 1 Arrival in Bhubaneshwar

Airport pick-up & airport-hotel transfer.

Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and will transfer you to check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city by yourself.

Day 2 The Temple City Bhubaneshwar

Visit Lingaraja Temple, Muktesvara Temple, Rajarani Temple, Ananta Vasudeva Temple. (B)

Bhubaneswar is known as the Temple City. Today our guide will show you some most popular temples. Our first stop is the Lingaraja Temple built in the 11th century and dedicated to Shiva. Then we will visit the 10th-century Hindu shrine, Muktesvara Temple. After that we will glance at the Rajarani Temple built between the 10th and 11th centuries out of red and gold sandstones. It is also known as the Love Temple due to its stylish and vivid carvings of women and couples. Our last stop will be the Ananta Vasudeva Temple devoted to Lord Krishna. At the end of today's tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.

Lingaraja Temple, Bhubaneshwar

Day 3 Drive to Puri

Drive 2 hours to Puri & check in at the hotel. Visit the village of Pipli and Raghurajpur en route. (B)

After breakfast, we will drive 2 hours to Puri. On the way, we will spend some time to visit the village of Pipli and Raghurajpur. Upon arrival, you will have the rest of the day at leisure. Puri is not only a popular holiday resort in East coast of India, but also one of India's seven sacred cities. Furthermore, Puri offers gorgeous beaches and the sea is ideal for surfing and taking a cool dip.

Day 4 A Full Day at Puri

Explore various temples in Puri, including the Shree Lokanath Temple. (B)

Today's exploration covers various temples in Puri. The Shree Lokanath Temple stands out because of its great Hindu significance as a religious site dedicated to Lord Shiva. Followed the visit to other highlights and we will leave the afternoon for you to relax on the fascinating golden beaches till sunset.

Day 5 Puri - Konark - Bhubaneshwar

Transfer to Konark. Visit the Sun Temple. Continue to drive to Bhubaneshwar and check in at the hotel. (B)

Today, we will proceed to to Konark and to Bhubaneshwar by car. The whole transfer takes about 3 hours. In Konark, you will marvel at a UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Konarak Sun Temple, built in in 1250 AD, it is one of the holy places of Brahmans and one of the most famous Brahman temples in India. Afterwards, we will drive to Bhubaneshwar where we will spend the night.

Day 6 See off at Bhubaneshwar
