Can it be accesed by the wheelchair? & how to get free charge ticket for senior and child below 18?

I am a group of 10 pax,
1 is 79 y.o
3 are below 18 y.o
6 are between 18-60

It can be accessed by the wheel chair but it is still not so convenient.
For seniors and children, it is available to book half-price tickets on its official website or WeChat account. You can also book with TravelChinaGuide directly.

Great Wall of Badaling

Hi, can I just walk up to the Great Wall of Badaling from the main entrance and walk back to the bus station without taking the cable way or pulley?

Yes, you can but it generally takes about 1-2 hours on foot and 15 minutes by cable car.

The cable car is CNY 100 for the single trip and CNY 140 for the round trip.

i live in Beijing and want to do a two day hike on the great wall.

That means, go out friday evening hike a little bit, stay overnight in my tent, hike the next day and then back to downtown area. the easiest way to get to the wall is badaling. any suggestions for a hike starting from there?

If you have enough energy, you may walk from the entrance. If the whole part is a little hard for you, you may take the cable car for a part of road.
