Longsheng has a subtropical monsoon climate and the annual average temperature is 18.1℃ (about 65℉). The moderate rainfall makes the climate very favorable. It is neither cold in winter nor hot in summer, thus all the seasons are the golden season for travel. Since all of Longsheng County is located on a high mountain area at an average altitude of 700-meters (about2, 297 feet), there is a distinct difference of the temperature between day and night. Therefore, tourists are reminded to bring the warm clothes.

To be mentioned in particular, the mild climate of the four seasons in Longsheng makes the viewing of the Dragon's Backbone Rice Terraces charming all the year round. The scenery on fine days and rainy days have different lingering impressions: under sunshine all the rice terraces shimmer; however, in rainy weather they glisten. Come here to feel it, see it!

The wind-rain bridge is located in Chengyang, Sanjiang County, a little far from LS. At the bus station of LS County, you could take a coach to arrive in Sanjiang firstly in 3.5 hours. Here, you could hire a cab driving to the bridge directly with a fare of 30RMB in 20 minutes. You could learn the bridge in details at https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/guangxi/sanjiang/winds_rain.htm
