Changsha Metro Line 2

Changsha metro line 2 stretches around 26.53 kilometers (16.5 miles), with Guangda Station at the east end and West Meixi Lake Station at the west, encompassing 23 stations. A single journey takes 48 minutes, and the ticket price ranges from CNY 2 to CNY 6. 

Changsha subway line 2 traverses the Xiangjiang River and connects transportation hubs including Changsha Railway Station, South Railway Station and the West Bus Station, some local renowned attractions such as Mt. Yuelu, Xihu Park and Orange Isle, as well as commercial areas like Wuyi Square, IFS, and Wanjiali Mall, serving as the busiest metro line in the city. 

The second phase of Changsha metro line 2 is under construction now, which extends west further in Yuelu District, via 11 stations from Shaojiawan to Changsha West Railway Station.

Tips:
1. The frequency of the train is 4min. in rush hours (07:00-09:00 & 17:00-19:00) and 6min. at other times.
2. Wuyi Square and Yingwanzhen stations are super crowded in peak times; between them, Wuyi Square, as a transfer hub between two major lines, is the busiest metro station in Changsha. 
3. Both Orange Isle Scenic Area and its metro station have the highest foot traffic from afternoon to evening; if you hate crowds, avoid this period for a better experience.
