When is the best time to travel in Indonesia?
Indonesia has a tropical rainforest climate and it's hot all year round. Generally, the best time to travel is from April to October, which is the dry season with pleasant weather and less rain. It is quite suitable for beach surfing and mount trekking.
Do I need a visa to visit Indonesia?
Yes. All travelers need to apply for a visa to enter Indonesia except those who are citizens of Southeast Asian countries. A visa on arrival (VOA) is available for most travelers. Also you could apply for an electronic visa on arrival (eVOA) apply online before arrival. Both are valid for 30 days and can be extended for another 30 days. Can I buy a SIM card at the airport?

How to get to and travel around Indonesia?
Normally, the international flights land at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali or Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta. There are no direct flights from Europe and United States, and travelers need to connect flights from Southeast Asia countries like Singapore and Malaysia. Is tipping customary in Indonesia?
Tipping is not mandatory in Indonesia. If you are satisfied with the service, you can leave a tip of at least 10,000 IDR or 1 USD. You can also consult your local guide if you have any confusion.
