Day 1 Arrival in Jinan
Daming Lake
Daming Lake
Our guide will pick you up at the airport or the railway station and then transfer you to the hotel for check in. It is better that you arrive in Jinan before 14:00 pm. Today, our first destination is Daming Lake - a natural lake with lush willows and gorgeous lotuses. Painted boats row leisurely through the lake back and forth.

When traveling to Jinan, a visit to the spring is a must, for it is a famous "Springs City" boasting hundreds of springs. Our guide will accompany you to Baotu Spring, which tops the list of Jinan's famous springs and is the earliest to be recorded in history. Water bursts out from the three outlets, creates thunderous sounds and sprays water jets. Here, you can appreciate the ancient pavilions and halls reflecting in the clear water which create a landscape virtually emulating paradise.

Day 2 Jinan - Tai'an - Qufu
Mount Taishan
Mount Taishan
In the morning, we transfer you to Tai'an, where the famous Mount Taishan is located. Upon arrival, you will take a cable car up to the Mount Taishan and visit the Dai Temple. As the top of the five greatest mountains in China, Mount Taishan is a shrine for the emperors to offer ceremonial sacrifices to heaven and earth in ancient times. In addition to its cultural background, Mount Taishan possesses natural scenery and ancient constructions. Dai Temple is the largest and best-preserved among the constructions, which is a Taoism Temple also used by the emperors to make sacrifice to the Gods of Heaven and Earth and worship the God of the Mt. Taishan. To conclude the tour in Tai'an, our guide and driver will escort you to Qufu, and then you will be accompanied to check into a hotel.

Meals: Western buffet breakfast, Lunch
Day 3 Qufu - Departure from Jinan
Confucius Temple, Qufu
Confucius Temple, Qufu
Today, we continue our tour in Qufu. As the hometown of Confucius, Qufu is well known for its Confucian culture and historical relics. You can proceed to visit Confucius Family Mansion, Confucius Temple and Confucius Cemetery with our guide's company. As the residence for the direct descendants of Confucius, Confucius Family Mansion is a typical complex in China's feudal era functioning as both government mansion and residential courtyard. Built on the former residence of Confucius, Confucius Temple is a large group of ancient construction second only to the Forbidden City. It is also a great example of Chinese ancient temple, housing many historical relics, especially the stone tablets and inscriptions. Confucius Cemetery is the tomb group of Confucius and his families with the largest area, the longest expansion and the best preservation. After today's visiting, you will be escorted back to the hotel, the airport or the railway station in Jinan by a comfortable vehicle to end this trip.

At that time, only the shuttle bus line 1 is available. You can take shuttle bus line 1 to JN Railway Station and then take a taxi to the West Station.

Have the flowers started to blossom in Jinan Buihua Park? And anywhere else can I see flowers blossom when I visit Jinan mid-next week (i.e. 27 to 29 March)
Also, is traffic congestion a problem in Jinan?
How much time will it take to take a taxi from Jinan to Qufu? Is the road OK? Can I visit Qufu with the taxi or better with tricycle?

Some of the flowers started to blossom in the end of March, such as white magnolia flower, and you can see it in Baihua Park. Most flowers will start to blossom in April. If you want to see Sakura, Wulongtan Scenic Area is a good place.

It takes around 1.5 hours to take a taxi from Jinan to Qufu. The road condition is ok, you may ask the driver to take the expressway. Besides, there are also high speed train and shuttle bus to Qufu, the train ride takes about 40 minutes and the bus journey takes around 3.5 hours.

Qufu is not a big city and the tourist attractions are not far from each other. You may choose to get around by taxi or riding bikes.

Yes. The Airport Shuttle Line 2 is in service till the last flight's arrival. You can take the bus to the downtown area. Or you may also take a taxi directly from the airport to the city center and the fare is around CNY120.

If you are going to the one in Changqing District, you can take shuttle bus line 1 to JN Railway Station and then switch to bus K302 to Jiaotong Xueyuan Changqing Xiaoqu.
If you are going to the one in Tianqiao District, you can follow the route above but get off at Jiaotong Xueyuan.
