Transportation from Qinhuangdao station to Laolongtou.
We are arriving by G train (highspeed) from TianJin at QHD station.

Is it better to take a train from QHD station to Shanhaiguan station and a taxi from there? Or could I get a taxi from QHD to Laolongtou? What would the taxi fare be in this case?

Will there be taxis available at Laolongtou to take us back to either Shanghaiguan or QHD station?

Or is a bus better? Is the bus station at the railway station in QHD? Or do you also need to take a taxi to the bus station?

It is easy to catch a taxi to Laolongtou. I remember the cab fare is CNY40-50 for your reference. For the back trip, you can also take a taxi. Don't worry!

Yes, there are buses to the destination, but you have to transfer several times, which is time-consuming and troublesome. You are suggested to take the train to Shanhaiguan and later take a taxi to Laolongtou.

Bus 25 runs from Sidaoqiao Bus Station in city downtown area to The Dragon's Head. Bus 21 can also get to the place. Take a taxi to the place from the city center, 50RMB.
