Currently, metro line 1, line 2 and line 3 are in operation. Line 1 links Shuanggang and Yaohu Lake West, covering a total of 24 stations. The southern extension of line 2 including 17 stations was put into use in August, 2017. It connects Nanlu and Metro Tower, covering a length of 19.6 kilometers (12 miles). Line 3 travels between Jingdong Avenue and Yinsanjiao North, containing 22 stations and passing  Aug. 1st Uprising Memorial Museum and Qingshan Lake. The east extension of lines 1, 2 and 4, which are under construction now, will be operational at the end of 2021. According to the long-term plan, Nanchang is expected to have 15 metro lines, with a total length of about 667 kilometers (414 miles) by the end of 2050.
 

Ticket Fare

The charge depends on the distance: CNY2 for the first 6 kilometers (4 miles); extra CNY 1 every 6 kilometers (4 miles) increment within 12 kilometers (7 miles); extra CNY 1 every 8 kilometers (5 miles) increment within 28 kilometers (17 miles); extra CNY 1 every 10 kilometers (6 miles) increment over 28 kilometers (17 miles).

 Notes:
1. Children under 1.2 meters (4 feet) can enjoy a free ride on the subway.
2. Nanchang Transportation Card / Hongcheng Yikatong holders can enjoy a 10% off when they take the metro.

Station to station
How does one get from Nanchang South Station to Nanchang West station?
Is there a subway line which connects the two or would one need to transfer?

Alterbatively is there a bus which goes between the two stations? Thanks in advance.

No direct buses between the two stations. You can take bus. no. 176 at Nanchang South Station to Xiyuan (玺园), then transfer to Liangtang - West Train Station customized line to get there. It takes about 2 hours and costs CNY 12.

Nanchang Honggu Mosque
Anyone know how to get Nanchang Honggu Mosque by Metro? And please advice which speed train station in Nanchang near to Nanchang Honggu. Thank you

There is no metro station right by the mosque. The closest ones are Weidong or Ditie Dasha, still 2km away. Nanchang West Railway Station is the nearest high speed railway station to the mosque.

Which campus do you refer to? Take Yaohu Campus as an example, you can take subway line 1 from Bayi Square to Olympic Sports Center Station, Exit 2. Then walk north around 650 meters to find the destination.
