Location:

Yinchuan Hedong Airport is located in Linhe Village of Lingwu City, which is subordinate to Yinchuan. It is about 12 miles (19 kilometers) away from the city center.
 

Brief Info:

Located by the Yellow River, Yinchuan Airport has three terminal buildings for passengers' convenience, T1, T2 and T3. However, only T1 and T3 are operating for passenger transportation currently. T2 is closed temporarily for rebuilding. T1 mainly deals with international flights, and other flights to/from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. T3, sizing 20 acres (82,000 square meters), consists of three floors. It is mainly used for domestic flights equipped with two inquiry desks.

How to get to Yinchuan Railway Station from the airport?

Passengers can take airport shuttle bus line 2 to Yuehai Xintiandi; and then walk 220 yards (200 meters) eastward to BHG Mall from where you can take bus no.45 to the railway station. It takes about 1.5 hours and costs CNY21 in total.
 

How to get to Sand Lake Scenic Area from the airport?

Take airport shuttle bus line 1 to Western Airport Aviation Hotel; and then walk 250 yards (235 meters) northward to Intersection of Shengli Street and Natang Lane to take bus no. 37 to Yinchuan Tourism Coach Station; from the coach station, you can take special sightseeing bus to the scenic area. The coach is available between 08:00 to 10:30 every 30 minutes. The Duration is an hour. The ticket fare is CNY15.
 

Taxi

It costs about CNY60 from the airport to downtown area by taxi.
It costs around CNY70 from the airport to Yinchuan Train Station.

 ATM: ATMs of major Chinese banks can be found at the north sides of both 1st and 2nd floors inside T2.
 Binhe Terminal Building is only 3-minute drive from Hedong airport. These services are provided here: information inquiry, boarding pass change services, conference reception, VIP service. In addition, café, restaurants, specialty shops and viewing platform are available at this terminal.

 Nursing Room: It is opposite the Boarding Gate No.6 in T2.

 Prayer Area: Muslim travelers can find the prayer area opposite the Boarding Gate No.5 inside T2.

Which is the BEST domestic transit airport with the MOST connections to Yinchuan?
Am going there from Singapore with NO DIRECT flights, pls advise fastest-shortest flt connections, and the airport with MOST flt connections. tks.

Well, you are suggested to fly into Guangzhou first, for which there are many flights. Then take another flight to ur destination.

They are hopeless to deal with - they dont answer emails. The email addresses I have are customer. administratormalaysiaairlines.com, gccc.reservationsmalaysiaairlines.com. Dont hold your breath if you email them - they dont reply. I think it is just a dark hole that they have to channel all their emails....

Hello, We will be flying from Xiamen to Yinchuan Airport tomorrow.
And then we need to go to YC Ling Gong Li Qing Nian Hostel. We know that we can take a shuttle bus and then a taxi. But we don't know which shuttle bus to take and where to take it to?

Upon landing, you can take airport shuttle bus at the Ground Transportation Center, and get off at Western Airport Aviation Hotel first. After arriving, take a taxi to your hotel directly. The cab fare is about CNY 15 in usual time.

Went to airport this morning and was informed that the flight was cancelled without inform us.
