Questions & Answers on Embassy & Consulates of U.K. in China
Asked by Sergey from RUSSIA | Jul. 02, 2019 19:04Reply
Hello! I’m Russian citizen. Living in Vladivostok. Which is just 2 hours flight from Beijing.
Usually I apply for British visas in Moscow, but Moscow is 9 hours flight from Vladivostok and almost triple time more expensive then flight to Beijing. I have 1 year multiple business visa to China. Can I apply for British visa in Beijing? If yes, please tell me which documents is necessary to provide. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your reply. I did it already. And there is no free call or free email to contact them. So, in their reply I didn’t find answer on my question. I’m just worry that business visa will be not enough to apply for UK visa in China and they will ask about permit residence of China or something like this. And also I’m worry that I will make an online application, pay visa fee, buy flight tickets to Beijing and when will come to visa center they will decline my appointment.

Hi, first, you may need to provide a filled-out application form affixed with passport-style photo, your passport and its photocopy, residence permit in China, round trip air tickets, and hotel booking record, studying certificate as well as other required documents. Then, submit the application to the visa office.

Hi, if you want to apply for a UK tourist visa from mainland China, you may need to provide your passport and copy of its data page, the completed application form attached with a passport-style photo, round trip air tickets, hotel reservation and other required documents. It may take 10 days for the processing. Just for reference.
