It's close to the Main Railway Station. You can take high-speed train from Beijing South Railway Station and arrive at there directly. The train takes around 2 hours.
You can buy the train tickets when you arriving at the train station. Or you can ask help for TravelChinaGuide. They provides online ticket booking service. Their contact information is bookingtravelchinaguide.com.

The fast train takes 12-14 hours. And the ticket fare of soft sleeper is CNY351, hard sleeper is CNY230 and hard seat is CNY124.
If you refer to high-speed train, the duration is only about 4 hours. Second class seat is CNY398.5,
first class seat is CNY673.5 and business class seat is CNY1263.5.

Book High Speed train in advance
As checked from website, booking in advance cannot reserve all seats together as we want. It is automatically run by system. If so, is it fine to buy ticket at Counter. Is it available ? I would like to travel from Beijing to Jinan on 6th Sep. Can we use Credit Card to pay at Counter ? Or we have to pay cash or debit card only ?

If you buy the tickets at the ticket counter, it is also not guaranteed that you can get all the seats together, for it is still operated by system. In addition, China train tickets can be booked ahead of 60 days. If buying at sight, all ticket are likely to be sold out.

As I know, only cash is accepted at the ticket window in railway stations.

You are allowed to take carry-on baggage a certain amount of 44 pounds (20 kg) for free, and the total length of each item cannot exceed 63 inches (160 cm). If your luggage is larger or heavier than that, you need to consign it.

Usually, as long as your luggage is not super large, it is fine to take onboard. Don't worry.
