Day 2 Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall
Today we will showcase the city's most favorite sightseeing spots to literally start your pleasant Beijing itinerary 5 days. It takes up a whole morning to visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. When strolling in the world biggest city square, you might even taste the grandness of China from its surrounding constructions. Walk northward for a few minutes and go through the Tiananmen Tower, you will enter the world-renowned Forbidden City, which served as the imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties from 1420 to 1920. Afterwards, we will arrange you an a la carte lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) at a superb Islamic restaurant.

After lunch, we will visit the oldest and largest mosque in Beijing, namely the Ox Street Mosque. Entering the mosque, you can see the ancient Prayer Hall, Watching Moon Tower, Service Building, Bangke Building, and Tablet Pavilion; all preserved in good state. Though its constructions are of Chinese traditional architectural style, with overhanging eaves and rake angles, the detailed decorations exhibit the strong styles and influence of Islamic culture. Another unique feature is that numerous Muslims who have firm belief inhabit the area near the mosque. Everyday they worship with five prayers, and observe other religious rites devoutly.

Muslim superstore, hospital, primary and secondary school and similar are readily available in the immediate area, and they offer great convenience to their daily life. Your final stop of the day will be the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing
Forbidden City
You will spend today in the suburbs where a Halal restaurant is not available for lunch, so we suggest you have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and bring enough food supply. As long as you set foot on the amazing ancient wonder - the Great Wall, your senses will come alive by its awe inspiring views. It is also a highlight of your 5 days Beijing tour. The wall at Mutianyu section preserves impressive watchtowers, and is strategically located on lofty ridges. It has a very rare sight in the entire Great Wall, which is unique to this section. The Zheng Guan Tai gate stands with three connected watchtowers. We will arrange the round-trip cable car for you.

After that, we will head back to downtown area for a visit to a local market. On the way, we will pass by the Bird’s Nest, also called Olympic National Stadium and leave you some time to take photos of this stadium.
