Sometimes a touch of cold breezes can still be felt on the street, however, which cannot prevent local people’s enthusiasm to welcome their most popular festival Tet, aka Lunar New Year. The best place to enjoy the jollification of Tet is Hanoi Old Town Quarter where you can see many locals shuttling in a hurry on the streets to prepare for the New Year and you may witness celebratory fireworks nearby. In February, another festival you should not miss is Co Loa Festival held at An Duong Vuong Temple, which starts from the 6th day to the 16th day of the first lunar month.

1. As many festivals fall in this month and this is undoubtedly the busiest travel season, it is predictable that traveling costs will increase a lot. It is necessary to book tickets and hotels as early as possible. 
2. Due to the Vietnamese New Year, many attractions, museums, shops and restaurants may be closed.
