Kunming Metro Line 2

Currently, Kunming metro Line 2 is around 23 kilometers (14 miles) long, and runs from North Coach Station to South Ring Road. It has 14 stations, including the Kunming North Railway Station and the North Coach Station. This subway line is in operation with Line 1, which passes Kunming Railway Station and Kunming South Railway Station, so passengers can shuttle between all the railway stations in the city conveniently. It is also connected with Line 6, allowing passengers to access the airport easily.

In the near future, expected to be in 2028, the second phase of the line will extend to Dianchi Lake area.

The train takes around 30 minutes to complete the whole journey from North Coach Station to the South Ring Road at CNY 4.
