Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu, Airport pick-up
As you arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (KTM) in Kathmandu - the capital of Nepal, you will meet our guide and our driver there. They are to pick you up and then take you to your hotel. After checking in, the guide will explain this Langtang trek and the notices to you briefly.

Day 2 Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi (1462m) Duration: 7 Hours
We are going to drive to Syabru Bensi (1,462m/4,797ft) via the long winding mountain road. The 145 kilometers (90 miles) long distance will take us 6-7 hours. On the way, we can enjoy the views of several Nepalese villages, lush mountainous landscapes as well as the snow-capped Himalaya Ranges. Syabru Bensi is a small town at the west end of Langtang Valley, where the rivers meet in the mountains. It is also our start point of the trekking on the following days.

Day 3 Trek from Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2,500m/8,202ft) Duration: 6 Hours
After breakfast, follow the guide to begin the trek in Langtang Valley. On the first day of our Langtang trekking tours, you will see the green terraced fields, monkeys, birds, dense forests with varieties of trees and other plants in the fantastic valley. We will also go through hanging bridges over the streams, and come across the multifarious waterfalls. At last, we will reach the campsite embraced by peaks - Lama Hotel. We will stay overnight there.

Day 4 Trek to Langtang Village Duration: 6 Hours
Keep trekking along Langtang Khola River today, and we can see the cloud-kissing Mt. Langtang Lirung (7,245m/23,770ft) all the way, the highest peak in the Langtang area. Walking on the rugged trails, we will arrive at Ghoda Tabela (3,000m/9,843ft), which is a farmhouse and whose life materials are transported by horse or donkey. After a short break, we will go on hiking, passing by some small mountain villages and a check point, to reach the Tamang village with mill and colorful flags, which is originally a settlement of Tibetan horse dealers. Then follow the trail to hike to Langtang Village (3,500m/11,483ft). The village is the base camp of Langtang National Park, near a large glacier and a frozen lake. Continue to trek to Mundu camp spot, where we are going to get food and live overnight.

Day 5 Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,798m/12,461ft) Duration: 4 Hours
On today's Langtang trekking tours, we are going to head to Kyanjin Gompa. We will reach Sindum first, a small campsite with a café, and then Yamphu, a small stop for a rest. Later we will get to the suspension bridge on Laja Khola, which is a river of melt snow from the high peaks. Climbing up a steep mountainside with stone steps, we will reach Kyanjin Gompa, the last and highest village in Langtang Valley. We can also the see the magnificent scenes of floating ice pieces of Langtang Lirung slide and being taken downstream by flowing river. Besides, Kyanjin Gompa, surrounded by snowbergs, is also very charming itself. Stay in a local guesthouse tonight.

Day 6 Day Trek to Chorkari Ri (5,050m/16,568ft) from Kyanjin Gompa Duration: 7 hours
Today, we are going to hike around the Kyanjin Gompa first. As a highlight of Langtang Valley, there is a temple and noted cheese factory, etc. there. After visiting these spots, we will trek to Chorkari Ri, the highest point of the zone. There, we will see Langtang peaks with the extraordinary beauty of "the roof of the world", Langtang glaciers, and Langshisha Kharka - the vast yak pasture. Finally we will return to the guesthouse in Kyanjin Gompa and stay overnight.

Day 7 Trek back to Lama Hotel Duration: 5-6 hours
Have breakfast at Kyanjin Gompa. Then we are going to go down the mountain by the trail where we came from. Taking 5-6 hours, we will get back to Lama Hotel. On the way back, we may see the picturesque Langtang Valley from the different viewing points.

Day 8 Trek back to Syabru Bensi Duration: 5-6 hours
Continue our Langtang trek for 5-6 hours today, we will reach Syabru Bensi. As the section between Lama Hotel and Syabru Bensi is not as rugged as other sections, we will feel easier on this day.

Day 9 Drive back to Kathmandu
We are going to return to Kathmandu by car. Driving down the mountains, we will arrive at the hotel in Kathmandu about 7 hours later. After hotel check-in, you may rest in your room to release the fatigue of mountain trekking for several days, or stroll nearby to see the city and its traditions.

Day 10 Departure Kathmandu, Airport see-off
On the last day, you will be transferred to the airport on time for your leaving flight. Wish you a happy trip home!
