How to Get from Macau to Zhuhai

Zhuhai is neighboring Macau to the north. For passengers to get from Macau to Zhuhai, taking the public bus and walking through the Portas do Cerco Border to enter Zhuhai is the most popular and cheapest way. Besides, shuttle buses and ferries are also ways to travel from Macau to Zhuhai. The direct shuttle buses departing from Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel and Studio City will arrive at Zhuhai downtown and Zhuhai Airport. Ferries takes around 20 minutes on the way, costing CNY18 per person.

1. Cheapest Way: City Bus

From Macau downtown area, the most convenient and cheapest way to Zhuhai is to take city bus or hotel free shuttle bus to get to Portas do Cerco Port or Hengqin Port first. Afterwards, pass the border and get into Zhuhai area.

Via Portas do Cerco
→ Take bus no. 3A/3AX/25AX/27/30X/51/59/AP1X to Portas do Cerco Bus Stop.
→ Follow the signs to reach Macau Portas do Cerco.
→ Get through customs and cross the border, then arrive at Zhuhai Gongbei Port.
→ Take the public transportation from Gongbei Port to downtown Zhuhai.

Via Hengqin Port
→ Take free shuttle bus nearby Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel or Studio City and get off at border first.
→ Follow the signs, clear customs and pass through the border, then arrive at Zhuhai Hengqin Port.
→ Transfer to public bus from Hengqin Port to Zhuhai city center.

2. Flexible Way: Direct Shuttle Bus, 80 minutes, CNY100

There are many direct shuttle buses in Macau that can take tourists to Zhuhai downtown and Jinwan Airport.

Take bus no.1/2/3A/5/5AX/10/10A/11/18/18B/21A/26/MT4/N3 and get off at Rua das Lorchas Bus Stop. Then walk south around 50 meters (55 yards) to get to Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal.

How to get from Macau Airport to Zhuhai Airport:

Free Hotel Shuttle Bus + Direct Shuttle Bus
Take free hotel shuttle bus from Macao Airport to Venetian Macau-Resort-Hotel first. It takes around 10 minutes on the way. Then take direct shuttle bus to Zhuhai Airport. The duration is around 80 minutes with the fare of CNY 100/person.

How to get from Macau to Zhuhai Railway Station:

Public Bus
Take public bus from Macau downtown area to Portas do Cerco. Then pass the border and arrive at Zhuhai Gongbei Port. After arriving, walk southwest for around 450 meters (500 yards) to get to Zhuhai Railway Station.

How to get from Macau to Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom?

Public Bus + Subway
Pass the Portas do Cerco Border and enter Zhuhai Gongbei Port first. Then take public bus no.K10 to Hengqin Bay Hotel. It takes around an hour on the way with the fare of CNY1/person. After that, walk southwest for around 350 meters (400 yards) to find the scenic area.

fastest and best way to go from Macau Airport to Zuhai Airport

i will arrive by plane at Macau Airport at november 5. after 6pm. as i understand german passportholder dont need a visa if not staying longer than 14 days is that right?. i will have a quick and uncomplicated trip then from macau airport to zuhai airport. as i have big bags i prefere to go by taxi or other private shuttle. where do i need to check my passport.

You can take a direct gogobus at the airport to Hengqin Port with a duration of about 30min, go through the immigration checks at the port, then walk for 5min to Hengqin urban rail station to take a high speed train to Zhuhai Airport, taking 15-30min. Your passport will be checked at the Hengqin port.

BTW, you can stay no longer than 15 days, not 14 days.

How to get to Zhuhai after 10pm from Macau International Airport

Hello, I will be arriving in Macau at 9pm and not sure if I will miss the shuttle bus service to Zhuhai. May I know what are the options for me to travel to Zhuhai? If taxis, what is the estimated price? Thanks!

The public transportation is still available at that time. You can take Taipa Line to Lotus Station, take Exit A and transfer to bus no. 701X to Hengqin Port and go through the customs there, then from Hengqin Port, there are buses running 24 hours to the city center of Zhuhai.

First, cross the Gongbei border to enter Zhuhai, then walk to the nearby Zhuhai Railway Station. There are many trains everyday running from the station to Guangzhou South Railway Station, with duration of only 1-1.5 hours.
