How to Get from Zhuhai to Macau
Zhuhai borders Macau to the north, thus there is neither flights nor trains between these two places. From Zhuhai downtown area, tourists can take metro lines or public buses to get to Gongbei Port or Hengqin Port first, then just pass the border and they can enter Macau. For the air passengers from Zhuhai Airport, they can take direct Airport Express to get to Macau directly; the duration is around 80 minutes, costing CNY 100. Besides, taking a ferry from Wanzai Wharf to Macau Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal is also an available way; it costs CNY18 per person, spending 18 minutes.

1. Cheapest Way: City Bus
Passengers can take several bus lines from Zhuhai downtown area to get to Zhuhai ports first. The two ports are Gongbei Port and Hengqin Port. After arriving, pass the border and enter Macau directly.
Via Gongbei Port
→ Take bus no.1/2/8/9/10A/11/31/32/34/36/99/101/207/931/B1/K1/K3/K5/K8/K10 to Gongbei Port.
→ Follow the signs to reach Zhuhai Customs.
→ Clear the customs and cross the border to reach Macau.
Via Hengqin Port
→ Take bus no.62/N20/Zhuhai Airport Shuttle Bus Hengqin Port Line and get to Hengqin Port first.

ReplyZhuhai Sanzao Airport to Macau at night?
Hello, I'm flying into ZUH airport, arriving at 9:30 pm, and am wondering what my options are for getting to Macau the same evening. Maybe the best option would be to take a taxi to the border at Gongbei Port or Hengqin Port? How late do those crossings stay open? If this seems like a good idea, can you give me an idea of how long this taxi ride would take, and how much it would cost? Thank you!

00ReplyGongbei border opens till 01:00 of the next day while Hengqin opens all day long.
It both takes about 50 minutes from Zhuhai airport to Hengqin and Gongbei. Taxi fare is around CNY100.
