As an old capital in Japan, Nara is well-known for its old temples. Visitors could have a temple safari or world cultural heritage exploration in Nara, and Todai-ji Temple, Kofuku-ji Temple, and Yakushiji Temple must be included in. On February 3, Setsubun Mantoro (lantern festival) is celebrated at Kasuga Taisha Shrine, when the antique lanterns light up the spot. Visitors may come across a deer in the old temples. But Nara Park, closer to nature, is the best place to feed the deer in person. As in winter, onsen bathing is an enjoyable thing to do in Nara in February.
