    Amazing Tour of Beijing with Helen – Highly Recommended!
    I had an incredible experience exploring Beijing, and our guide Helen made it truly unforgettable. From the start, everything was seamless: we were picked up on time in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus with complimentary water and sweets.

    Helen took us to all the iconic sights. The Great Wall, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven, giving us plenty of time to explore and take photos while sharing fascinating historical insights. Her knowledge and passion for the city really brought each place to life.



    Lunch was included and served buffet style. It was delicious and a great way to recharge during the day.



    At the end of the tour, I asked to be dropped off at a specific location in the city center. Helen went above and beyond by arranging and paying for a taxi for me, even waiting until it arrived to make sure I was taken care of. I was so impressed by her kindness and exceptional service.



    I can’t recommend Helen highly enough to anyone visiting Beijing. She’s not just a guide, but someone who genuinely cares about making your experience special. Less

    Barry was kind and always smiling from the very first moment he welcomed us at Beijing Airport until he saw us off at the bullet train station to Xi’an.

    Wendy Lee planned an excellent multi city trip to China for my wife and I. She was flexible with our many questions and changes to the itinerary. Kevin was our guide in Beijing. He was knowledgeable, well read, and experienced. We toured the typical sites for a 3 day tour of Beijing. In July, there were large crowds. Kevin knew how to avoid long lines, worked well with our driver and made things seamless at each site. He used the time in the car to educate us on Chinese history, culture, and More

Because of this we were able to see gardens and the inside of a temple at the Royal City, visit the park behind the Forbidden City to get great overview pics, take a boat ride at the summer Palace and stop at the Hongqiao Pearl Market.     Terracotta Army and City Wall in 39 degrees!
    We had a great day - with much of it attributed to our fabulous guide Sasha. Navigating the massive complex that is the Terracotta Warrior Museum on a very hot day would have been hard work with out her!!! Amazing experience had - the warriors are incredible and Sasha was able to share heaps of info as we went around, as well as short cuts to miss the crowds! We shared a fabulous simple noodle lunch, and then headed to the City Wall. Thanks Sasha!

    Family visit to Mt Huashan
    Do the Mt Huashan trip with Rodger! He’s brilliant. Friendly, funny, knowledgeable. Even made our teenage kids smile their way up the three peaks in the heat. Gorgeous scenery. Scary cable car! A wonderful show - with camels, a waterfall, rotating stage, and wolves - on the way home. And great food stops. A fabulous day. Thanks Rodger :)

    Exceptional Xi’an Experience with Lily – A Truly Memorable Tour!
    I had an amazing day exploring Xi’an with Lily as my guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city’s rich history. From the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors to the peaceful Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the impressive City Wall, Lily brought each site to life with fascinating stories and insights.     Didn’t disappoint
    Fantastic tour organised by Kina at Travel China Guide.

    Our guide Lola was informative, knowledgeable & very helpful.



    A once in a lifetime trip the Terracotta Warriors were on our bucket list & they didn’t disappoint. Lola also helped us negotiate when we wanted to get Replica warriors to take home.



    Another highlight was making our own mini warriors to take home. A really fun activity.

    We also visited Xi’an city wall & the Muslim bazaar.

    Our guide Lola was informative, knowledgeable & very helpful.

    This was a very informative trip guided by the very experienced and knowledgeable tour guide Carol. Carol was so helpful with lots of experience and knew so well with chinese ancient history. We learnt a lot from her!

    You definitely need more than 1 day to experience Shanghai but I had been here before and this time my 2 daughters came with me and they did not care about going to some tourist attractions so we decided to get a private tour to get the highlights of the city.     We had an absolutely wonderful time in Shanghai. Our tour was not only educational but also highlighted things that were interesting and important to our family.     Our tour guide, Sophie, took us around Shanghai. We visited the Shanghai Museum, the Bund, did a river cruise. In the afternoon, we visited the Jade Buddha, which was a very big and interesting temple. Afterwards, we visited Tianzifang, which is the French quarter.     Fantastic scenery, amazing tour guide
    Gulin was the 3rd stop on our tour and so far the best leg of our trip. The views were truly stunning. Samantha, our guide, was passionate about the area and the people and gave us lots of information and recommendations for food and a spectacular evening show on the river.



    The Li River cruise was definitely a highlight of our holiday.

    Beautiful Guilin with Ada
    In each city we had a different tour guide and driver. Most were professionals ready to help and assist. But in Guilin our guide was Ada. Ada is a completely different level of guide. With her you don't think about anything, you just enjoy the beautiful Guilin because she has already thought for you. With Ada it's like being with your best friend.

    Our tour guide in Guilin was Kim. He helped us enjoy all Guilin area had to offer. On our first day, he took us to Longshen rice terraces, which is a beautiful area. On the second day, we took a Li River cruise, enjoyed the beautiful karst hills along the way. The boat and the trip down the river was very nice.     Our tour guide in Guilin was Kim. He helped us enjoy all Guilin area had to offer. On our first day, he took us to Longshen rice terraces, which is a beautiful area. On the second day, we took a Li River cruise, enjoyed the beautiful karst hills along the way. The boat and the trip down the river was very nice. On Kim's suggestion, we attended the Romance show. We really enjoyed this show, which was about the history of the Yangshuo area. On our last day, we went up the Yao mountain in a cable car. The views from the top were amazing. That day, we also stopped by the Reed Flute Cave, which was an enormous caves with beautiful rock formations. Some reviews I had read earlier had made me question whether this cave was worth it but we really enjoyed it. All in all, we enjoyed our time in Guilin tremendously thanks to Kim, he is a very friendly, knowledgeable local guide. We are glad we went with China Travel Guide, everything was perfect. Less

    Visiting Guilin and Yangshuo with Tony
    It was an amazing trip with our guide Tony. He shared with us all his knowledge about Guilin and Yangshuo and took us to do the boat trip down the Li River to see de amazing landscapes there. He also made posible for us to do a bamboo raft trip along Yangshuo and that was amazing. Finaly he took us to see the elephant trunk hill and the reed flute cave and we loved it! Thank You Tony!

    Charles has been great since picking us up at the train station in the evening; taking us to a recommended local restaurant, helping with the order and breifing us deeply for next day.

    Panda tour was amazing, despite the heat we could see 21 Giant Pandas and 4 Red Pandas. Leshan trip to see the Giant Buddha didn't disappoint neither!

    I went to China along with a tour group (a bunch of random other people) at the end of June 2025 and spent 2 days in total in Chengdu - one day to get there and get back. We met Bella in Chengdu who was super helpful.

    She is a kind,considerate and friendly young lady who is quite knoledgeble, capable, speaks really good Engliah and keen to help her patrons. She definitely has the right attitude for a job that can be demanding at times. Hence I have given her a 5 star review.

    Bella was fantastic!
    We had a wonderful holiday in Chengdu. In addition to delicious food, we were able to get up close to many gone pandas and visited an active archeological site. Bella was very kind and knowledgeable, and provided white glove service throughout. Our 8 year old son Bodhi loved Bella and hopes to keep in touch. Highly recommend.
