They usually have a sign written "清真" on the sign to remind people the restaurants are muslim restaurants.

Hello,
It is hard to find an economic eatery around Tiananmen Square. Walk to Qianmen Street or the nearby Hutongs to find some local restarurant.

The Duyichu could be found easily at the Qianmen Street where could be reached from Wangfujing on foot or by city-bus. The Huatian Rastaurant has several branches in Beijing. The closest one for you is located at Zhangzizhong Station of subway Line 5.

Dongjiao wholesale market in Bawangfen, 200 meters south of Dawangqiao in CHaoyang District. Or you can get to the place around the bridge opposite Putian Group Building between Fuxingmen and Guanganmen Bridge.
