Yichang Sanxia Airport

Location: Lying in the Xiaoting District of Yichang, the airport is around 16 miles (26 kilometers) from city center and 34 miles (55 kilometers) from the Three Gorges Dam.

Brief Intro: Yichang Sanxia Airport was opened in late 1996. Currently, it operates 31 air routes to the domestic and international cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Nanning, Qingdao and Kunming, as well as Busan. The airport also provides air charter service to Hong Kong and Taichung, Taiwan.
 Yichang Airport has a two-floor terminal building, which occupies an area of about 4 acres (1.6 hectares).

  To Three Gorges Dam Project
Take airport shuttle bus to local Long-distance Bus Station. Upon getting off, walk northwards along Dongshan Avenue for around 900 yards (820 meters) to find Yiling Square bus stop, where you can take bus no. 10. After being dropped off at Yemingzhu, you can transfer to Special Line 8 to the project directly.

 To Gezhouba Water Conservancy Project
Take airport shuttle bus and get off at the terminal station - Imperial Court Hotel. Then change to bus no. 50 to reach there. If taking a taxi for a direct trip, the fare can be around CNY80.
