Day 2 Guilin - Yangshuo
Cruising on the Li River
Today you will take a memorable Li River cruise tour to Yangshuo to start your Beijing Guilin tour. The 83-kilometer (52 miles) waterway from Guilin to Yanshuo is the masterpiece of the Li River scenery. Once arriving, you will first check in the hotel. Then we will transfer you to see the unique scenery of countryside. A local villager's home is somewhere on the way expecting your visit, so that you could experience the farmers' lifestyle there while appreciating the natural beauty of Yangshuo.

Tips: Here we would like to remind you the lunch on the cruise is not that good. It is the simple box lunch provided by the cruise company. We can only say it is edible but far from delicious. We suggest you have a big breakfast at the hotel this morning.

Meals: Western buffet breakfast, Lunch
Day 3 Yangshuo
We intend to remain the whole day free for you to explore the charms of graceful Yangshuo. You could take a leisurely stroll along the famous West Street to discover the hundreds of years' history of this small town from the gray flagstone roads and the traditional low brick wooden houses. You can also experience the unique exotic flavor from the passing-by foreigners and the characteristic bars and restaurants. Communication here will not be a problem because even the local vendors speak fluent English. If you prefer natural landscape, you can also pay a visit to the Moon Hill and the Big Banyan Tree and see the beautiful scenery along the country road.

Meals: Western buffet breakfast
Day 4 Departure from Guilin
Local villagers' life
You will return to Guilin this morning and take a city tour to the Reed Flute Cave, the Seven Star Park and the Elephant Trunk Hill. Located 5 kilometers (about 3 miles) from the city center, the Reed Flute Cave is a famous karst cave full of various shapes of stalactites and stalagmites. The Seven Star Park is the largest complex park in the City, which comprises a karst cave, natural landscape of hills and rivers, as well as the historical sites of ancient temples. You may have had a look at the Elephant Trunk Hill on the Li River Cruise. As the name indicates, the hill looks like a giant elephant drinking water from the river with its long trunk. Afterwards, this Beijing and Guilin tour package ends and your private guide will see you off at the airport for your homebound flight. Wish you a nice trip home!

Meals: Western buffet breakfast

What public transport options are there from the center of Guilin to Mopanshan Wharf?
How much would a taxi cost from the centre to the wharf? If we decide to take a taxi how can we go about locating/requesting one?

Thanks for the help!

You can take Bus Line 9 to Qifeng Road East. However, there are still about 3km to the wharf and you need to take a taxi. If you take a taxi directly, the fare is about CNY80-100. You can just wave on the road to call a taxi.

You are suggested to take metro line 2 from railway station to Dongzhimen. Then take airport express to Terminal 3. The whole way takes around an hour.

Don't worry. You can take the direct coach from Yangshuo Bus Station. As I know, the bus schedules are 08:30 and 13:00. The duration is 4 to 4.5 hours. It costs CNY 70 per person.
