Day 1 Arrival in Hong Kong
Airport-hotel transport by yourself.
Hong Kong has an excellent public transport system that offers extensive, reliable and affordable choices, which have signs and announcements in English. So getting around by public transport in Hong Kong is very simple. In this five days China tour, we leave your travel in Hong Kong independently and we only book hotels with breakfast for you. We will also offer some useful information to help you arrange your visit there. However, if you prefer private guided tour in Hong Kong regardless of the high cost, we are pleased to offer it accordingly.
Upon arrival at Hong Kong international airport, please take the Airport Express at a cost of HK$90 to the Kowloon station, where the free shuttle bus K3 is available to take you to the hotel we have booked for you. Please get off at the 6th stop to the 5-star InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong and the 3rd stop to the 4-star Regal Kowloon Hotel. On the first day in Hong Kong, we suggest you settle into your hotel, enjoy its amenities and relax. If you prefer to challenge yourself today, we suggest you explore nearby your hotel, as the hotels we have chosen are conveniently located. There are endless things to see, to do and to buy. You may enjoy strolling down the 'Avenue of Stars', a waterfront promenade offering all the spectacular views of Hong Kong harbor and then enjoy the sunset.

Day 2 Hong Kong

On your second free day in Hong Kong, we recommend a half-day Hong Kong Island Tour for you. Please find out the MTR Tsim Sha Tsui station near your hotel and take the Tsuen Wan Line south towards the Central. Get out from the Exit K of the Central Station and walk to the Central Star Ferry Pier Station, you will find Bus No. 15. You can also find Minibus Line 1 at Hong Kong City Hall Station which is a walking distance from Exit K. Take the bus to the Victoria Peak, the highest mountain on the island and enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the harbor below. Besides, reach the peak by taxi is another good choice. After that take the bus or taxi down and walk to the Admiralty Station, where you will find the Citybus 6, 6X or 6A. Take one and get off at the Repulse Bay. This beautiful sandy beach is a good place to relax, or get a snack or drink along the promenade. Continue by the Citybus 6, 6X or 6A to Stanley Market, a bargain-hunter's paradise. Besides the great shopping opportunities, there are also many good restaurant choices that will appeal to most visitors. The last stop we suggest is Aberdeen, home to the floating fishermen's village. Take bus 73, 973 or green-roofed minibus 52, get off at Aberdeen Main Road to visit the Wholesale Fish Market or the Bei Fung Tong Typhoon Shelter.

Day 3 Hong Kong - Chengdu
Take a flight to Chengdu by yourself. Pick up & airport-hotel transfer. (B)
After breakfast, please pack your luggage and check out the hotel. Your China tour from Hong Kong will turn to Chengdu today. We will book the flight to Chengdu and offer you the detailed flight information in advance. Please leave enough time to go to the airport by yourself. You can take the free shuttle bus K3 to the Kowloon station and change to the Airport Express. If you get many luggage, we suggest you take taxi directly, which may take around 40 minutes at a cost of estimated HKD350.
Once you arrive at Chengdu Airport, our local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area and escort you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore this city. Sichuan province is famous around the world by their spicy food, among which hot pot is the most appealing one. If you are interested, you could ask suggestions of restaurant choice from your local guide and gorge yourself on the aromatic and exotic food.

Once you arrive at Chengdu Airport, our local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area and escort you to the hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to explore this city. Sichuan province is famous around the world by their spicy food, among which hot pot is the most appealing one. If you are interested, you could ask suggestions of restaurant choice from your local guide and gorge yourself on the aromatic and exotic food.

Day 4 Chengdu
Giant Panda Base, Jinsha Site Museum, Broad and Narrow Alleys. (B)
Giant pandas
Different from the bustling metropolis Hong Kong, Chengdu is famous for 'The Land of Abundance' and the local people's cozy lifestyle. Taking advantage of this full day in Chengdu, we will show you the features of this city. It is a must to see the plump black-and-white giant pandas in Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Housing more than 80 giant pandas in natural habitat, the center is one of the largest panda breeding facilities in the world. We will get there earlier as pandas like cool morning. They are more active when eating. It is really fun to see various ages of pandas, even baby pandas which will surely capture your heart.
Next stop is the Jinsha Site Museum. It is the excavation site of the ancient Shu Kingdom, about 3000 years ago. There displays many cultural artifacts, like pottery, bronze, jade and gold worked pieces, as well as elephant tusks, which may take you back in time to learn about ancient China's culture. After that, we will turn to the Broad and Narrow Alleys. You will see some historical architecture courtyards, and also many tea houses, restaurants, food stalls and various shops. You could stop for tea at a traditional teahouse, and savor an authentic Chinese snack from a street vendor, or just simply experience the ambience and enjoy the exotic sights and smells.
