Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Upon arrival at the Beijing Capital Airport, our professional local guide will meet you outside the exit and give you a warm greeting. A brief introduction to the city will be given on your comfortable drive to the hotel. After check-in, you will be accompanied to visit the 798 Art Zone, if time permits.

Day 2 Beijing

Today's private 9 days luxury China tour will start with the Tiananmen Square. After taking good pictures there, the guide will walk you through the Tiananmen Tower at the northern end to the Forbidden City, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911). You will also appreciate precious historical items at the Treasure Gallery and Hall of Clocks inside.

At noon, an a la carte lunch will be specially served at a superb local restaurant. After that, you will be escorted to the Summer Palace. A painted pleasure boat ride on the Kunming Lake is included for you to have a full and clear view of the Longevity Hill and surrounding halls, gallery, and bridges when the weather's fine.

If you are a big fan of Chinese Kung Fu, tonight's Kung Fu show will be perfect for you. We will reserve relatively good seat to let you appreciate the actors' free-flowing but vigorous moves up close.

Day 3 Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall, Bird's Nest (drive by), Peking Duck Dinner. (B+D)

After breakfast, you will set out to the less-touristy Mutianyu Great Wall with 1.5 hours' drive. The round-trip cable car is included. You can take time to walk on the Great Wall and appreciate the beautiful scenery. Lunch is not arranged today, and you have the choice of selecting your preferred restaurants. Please feel free to ask our guide for some recommendations.

On your way back to the hotel, you can have a stopover to observe and shoot the outstanding appearance of the Bird Nest. After a short break, you will be entertained with the authentic roast duck at Da Dong Roast Duck Restaurant.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi'an
Temple of Heaven with one-hour Tai Chi class, Hutong tour, A la carte lunch, Fly to Xi'an. Airport-hotel transfer. (B+L)
Terracotta warriors
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at the hotel and escort you to the Temple of Heaven. There is a park nearby where seniors usually take morning exercise. You will take a one-hour Tai Chi class there before visiting the temple. After feeling refreshed, our guide will show you around the Temple of Heaven and explain ancient sacrificial rituals for you. Then, we will take a Hutong tour by rickshaw to explore the traditional Beijingers' lifestyle.

Around noon, a delicious a la carte lunch is scheduled for you. You can order your favorite food and our guide is willing to give you some advice. Your essential China tour in Beijing will come to an end at this point. Our guide will escort you to the airport for your onward flight to Xi'an. Please meet our Xi'an guide outside the exit upon arrival and then take a private car ride to the hotel.

Day 5 Xi'an
Terracotta Army Museum, A la carte lunch, City Wall, Muslim Quarter, Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. (B+L+D)
Riding bicycles on Xi'an City Wall
This luxury Xi'an tour will start with the Terracotta Army Museum featuring more than 8,000 life-sized pottery soldiers, 400 horses, and 100 chariots buried together with the Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210 BC). After that, you will have an a la carte lunch at the five-star Huaqing Aegean International Hot Spring Resort.

The afternoon tour includes the City Wall and the Muslim Quarter - a bustling snack street with hundreds of years of history. When on City Wall, you can take a bicycle or battery car to travel around the wall and get a general view of the city. Tonight you will appreciate the marvelous Music and Dance Show presented at the Tang Dynasty Palace while enjoying the luxury imperial court dinner.

Day 6 Xi'an - Shanghai
Provincial History Museum, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, A local family visit and home-cooked lunch, Fly to Shanghai. Airport-hotel transfer. (B+L)
This morning we will firstly visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum which houses over 370,000 valuable relics unearthed throughout the province. Our next destination is the Small Wild Goose Pagoda - serving as the storage for Buddhist scriptures during the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907). A local family visit follows around noon. While the host is preparing the lunch, you can learn to cook one or two dishes if interested.

At the end of this Xian tour, our guide and driver will deliver you to the airport and see you off. Upon landing in Shanghai, you will meet our local guide at the exit and then be transferred to the hotel.

Day 7 Shanghai
Shanghai World Financial Center, Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, A la carte lunch, Yuyuan Garden, the Bund, Huangpu River cruise, Era Acrobatic Show. (B+L)

Your essential China tour in Shanghai starts with the Shanghai World Financial Center, which has a height of 492 meters (1,614 feet). Take some great shots there and then you will be transferred to the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Here you will have a general idea of the city's past, present and future. An a la carte lunch at the famous Xian Qiang Fang Restaurant is served today.

Yuyuan Garden and the nearby commercial blocks are scheduled in the afternoon. After that you will be guided to the Bund Area and then cruise on the Huangpu River to enjoy old-style exotic buildings as well as the stunning skyline on the two banks.

At night, the amazing Era Acrobatic Show awaits you at Shanghai Circus World.

Day 8 Shanghai
Nanxun Ancient Town. (B)
Today, the guide will take you out of the urban area to have a one-day leisure tour at the Nanxun Ancient Town. With a river flowing through, the town is full of elegant mansions of rich merchants in the past times. You will feel like being taken back to the old days while wandering around and immersing yourself in the grace and refinement of the water town.

Day 9 Departure from Shanghai

Is there a direct way to go to Shanghai pudong airport from people square?
I will be near Nanjing road at the Johnson Plaza and need to go to the airport Sunday afternoon, how long should I need? Is it ok to go in subway?

Yes, the transportation is quite convenient. It is advised to take airport shuttle bus line 5 from East Yan'an Road Middle Zhejiang Road Bus Stop to PVG directly. Generally speaking, it takes around 80 mins on the way. Besides, you can also take the subway line 2.

if you are holding a Janpanese passpport, you can enjoy a 15 days visa free transit in the country.

Landing Midnight at PEK

I will landing close to midnite in T2,
does the left luggage service open 24hours ?
any place I can taking rest in the airport from Midnite to morning around 6 a.m. ?

Don’t worry, the luggage storing service is available all day. And you can have a rest in the airport, by the way, you are suggested to stay in the Hourly Lounge between D2 and D3 Gate in the basement of T2.

Easiest transport from Pudong Airport to Hotel Metropolo Classique off bund at 8 pm on a Sunday.
I have one luggage bag and one carry on with me.

Subway is recommended. At PVG, take line 2 and get off at East Nanjing Road. You can leave from exit 7 and turn south to East Nanjing Road. Walk east on the road for 5-8min and you can see ur hotel on the left side.
