TravelChinaGuide attended the 9th China Xinjiang International Tourism Festival!

The Ninth China Xinjiang International Tourism Festival was opened on June 20, 2013 at Xinjiang International Exhibition Center in Urumqi. About 182 travel agencies from 26 foreign countries and 192 travel agencies from 24 cities and provinces of China were present at the festival. Representatives of our company attended the activity.

The eight-day festival, themed as “Xinjiang is a Good Place”, focused on the Xinjiang tourism promotion and trade fair. Two highlighted itineraries including the Scenery Sightseeing in the north part of Xinjiang and a Folk Cultural Appreciation in the south part were introduced to about hundreds of delegates from both home and abroad. It is a good opportunity for both local travel agencies and non-local ones to interactive with each other.

TravelChinaGuide attended the Inauguration of MV President 7 Cruise

In April, 2013, a group of representatives participated in the inauguration of MV President 7 Cruise of Yangtze River Tour.

The new 5-star President Cruise is regarded as the world largest cruise for Inland River now. With 230 well decorated cabins, it holds about 580 people at maximum. Facilities including dining rooms, bar, library, gym, indoor swimming pool, cinema, beauty saloon, massage room and so on are equipped for visitors’ comfort.

The tour from Chongqing to Yichang lasted about 3D3N. Besides seeing the wonderful Three Gorges, the tour also had three shore excursions including the trip to Shibaozhai, Shennong Stream and Three Gorges Dam Site. In addition, various kinds of activities such as lectures and art performances were arranged.

The tour provided us with useful information about this new ship, which is helpful for us to arrange customers a better Yangtze River Tour.

2013 Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony

The annual feast was held at the banquet hall of Chuanyu Family Restaurant (Chuanyu Renjia) at 17:00, January 12, 2013. An amusing and popular opening dance "Gangnam Style” played by our versatile staff enlivened the atmosphere. A speech delivered by deputy manager followed. She summarized the achievements of our company in the past year and also set goals for the next year and all the staff there were encouraged to work harder and develop themselves with the company.

The most exciting part of the party was the award ceremony to the excellent company staff. The six excellent employees not only got luck themselves, but also spread their luck to other colleagues by drawing lucky tickets.

Later, a popular song sung by a handsome colleague and a sketch played by two hosts and some other employees provided laughter to the banquet.

A big dinner followed two interesting games. All the company members toasted and blessed for the Chinese New Year. The whole party was filled with laughter and applauding.
