At the beginning of December, 2015, a group of our business representatives took a 9-day exploratory tour to Cambodia, hoping to experience the classic tour itineraries and provide better services to our clients.

The group set out from Xi'an to Siem Reap by air on December 5. After accommodation arranged, the group members headed for the Angkor National Museum, learning a lot about the history and culture in Angkor Period. Later, the beautiful sunset in Angkor Wat left them a profound impression. The folk dance show in Apsara Theatre also attracted them very well.

After the short stay, the group departed from Siem Reap to Battambang. There, they experienced bamboo train ride and visited Wat Phnom Sampeau. On the eighth day of the tour, they went to Phnom Penh. During the stay there, the National Museum of Cambodia and different hotels were visited. On the ninth day, the group returned from Phnom Penh to Xi'an, marking a successful ending of the trip.

A Field Trip to Myanmar

Published: November 20, 2015

On November 8th, 2015, a group of our tour operators was sent to Myanmar for a field trip. During the ten-day trip, they mainly explored and investigated important tourist attractions and hotels in Yangon and Bagan, two major tourism cities. In Myanmar, a country where more than 80% citizens believe in Buddhism, you can see pagodas everywhere. Therefore, the splendid and magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda, a masterpiece out of all pagodas, undoubtedly became the first stop. Afterwards, they visited the sacred stupas of Bagan, U Bein Bridge and the pastoral Inle Lake successively. The exotic customs, majestic buildings, and comfortable hotel rooms all left them a good impression.

Afterwards, they continued their visit to the Maweiyi Village, about 37 mi (60 km) west of Xi'an. It is a Folk Culture Village based on the ancient post site of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907). Given free time to explore the village, our staff marveled at the smartly-designed architecture, authentic local snacks and abundant cultural exhibitions. Especially the delicacies lanes, our staff loved the local delicacies the most and they purchased a lot of easy-carry snacks to take home.

The whole trip went smoothly because everyone was punctual. The successful and fruitful trip was attributed to the company’s considerate arrangements and the staff’s cooperation.

Large Student Group Tour Successfully Arranged

Published: April 27, 2015

On the 22nd of April, we welcomed a five-day Xi'an culture tour group of 95 exchange students from the AFS Intercultural Programs. They were all senior school students from various countries, such as the USA, Italy, Germany and Thailand. Considering such a great number of travelers, we managed a smooth and successful trip for our customers.

Targeted at students, our agency provided tailor-made services and special activities. In Xi'an City, they had an exploration to the Terra Cotta Army, the world's largest underground military army from the Qin Dynasty (221 - 207BC). A traditional dumplings banquet was prepared for them to taste the famous local food. The most exciting experience was cycling on the best-preserved City Wall of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644AD). They also dropped by the Children’s Village of Sanyuan County, giving courage and help for children in need. As well, we made them an extensional tour to Hanzhong, the military base of the ancient Three Kingdoms (220 - 280AD). The students traced the history in Ancient Hantai (Hanzhong Museum) and Wuhou Temple.

It was our powerful reception capacity that made the whole journey fruitful and memorable. As always, we provide the best service possible.

Followed was a speech delivered by our deputy manager, who summarized the work of 2014, thanked all the staff for their hard work in the year and set goals for 2015. Next was the climax of the banquet: the announcement and award ceremony of 2015’s excellent staff. The six top performers set good examples for all staff; they also shared their happiness with other colleagues with a lucky draw. The banquet continued as funny games, group singing and more lucky draws were held to enliven the atmosphere.
