Earlier this month, a group of tour operators from our company took a ten-day exploratory tour to Vietnam, experiencing a typical north-south itinerary and working out possibilities for potential travelers to Vietnam and other Southeast Asian countries.

The morning flight took the group from Xi'an to Nanning where our staff toured the city center before they boarded the international train from Nanning to Hanoi. The overnight train arrived early in the morning to start a three-day stay in Hanoi. They visited major attractions around Ba Dinh Square and Hoan Kiem Lake, took a one-day cruise to the famous Ha Long Bay, and visited some of the local travel agencies, hotels, and restaurants.

The group experienced the Vietnamese train from Hanoi to Da Nang, and then visited the small but elegant ancient town of Hoi An. Afterward they flew to Ho Chi Minh City, and spent three days in Vietnam’s largest city. Besides visiting traditional sites like the Mekong River, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and Reunification Palace, our staff made a thorough investigation of the local travel agencies and hotels, bringing back useful information for organizing Vietnam tours for our future customers.
