What to Wear in Wuhan in January

Warm accessories: Wear a woolen hat, a swarf, and gloves based on your own need.
 

Travel Tips in Wuhan in January

1.    It’s suggested to arrange open-air activities on sunny days in higher temperature. In brilliant sunshine, to relieve the discomfort caused by coldness, cycling around the East Lake is the best thing to do. Tall metasequoia trees with brownish-red leaves and fragrant wintersweet flowers are two highlights in the attraction this month. In addition, the city’s landmark Yellow Crane Tower is unmissable, and it’s highly recommended to schedule this stop around noon. Before the end of the daytime, don’t forget to make good use of the clear weather and watch the sunset view on the imposing Yangtze River Bridge

2.    On colder days with precipitation, indoor attractions are better places to go. For example, you can visit the Hubei Provincial Museum to view the 2,400-year-old sword and chime bells in a large size. Wuhan further boasts delicious snacks such as lotus root soup, and Hubu Alley gathering plenty of restaurants and stalls is a well-known destination for foodies.

3.    Occasionally, the air of Wuhan is slightly polluted and smog may affect visibility. So remember to pack a mask into your luggage.

4.    For those who want to enjoy snow scenery, in case that the snow may melt during the day, it’s suggested to view it at dawn in lower temperature and also a serene atmosphere, and take necessary measures to keep warm.
