Wuhan Weather in March

 

In March, tourists are advised to wear thin sweaters, jackets, jeans, or wind coats. The temperature is relatively low at night, so visitors should wear heavy sweaters, winter clothes, and cotton-padded jackets to insulate against the cold.When going to Wuhan in March, the cherry trees are in bloom and are a great attraction. The Cherry Blossom Festival is held in the East Lake Scenic Area or Wuhan University in March each year, which may last for one month. Qingshan Park is a famous site for appreciating cherry blossoms as well. Thousands of cherry trees from all over the world, including hundreds of varieties are planted in this park. Tourists can not only enjoy the cherry blossoms, but also azaleas here, which provides a great opportunity to take beautiful photos. What's more, there are many other famous attractions in Wuhan, such as Yellow Crane Tower, Guiyuan Buddhist Temple, and Hanjiang Road Pedestrian Street. Those who seek for delicious local food can go to Hubu Lane, Jiqing Street, Jianghan Road and Snack Street in Shouyi Cultural Park.
 Usually, the flowering phase for cherry blossoms is between mid-March and mid-April. Tourists should select their time carefully for appreciating cherry blossoms, which means they should neither go there too early nor too late. Besides, they should avoid going there on weekends or holidays when numerous visitors may swarm into the scenic spots. In order not to spoil the academic environment, tourists should keep quiet if going to Wuhan University to appreciate the cherry blossoms. Those who are allergic to pollen should wear a mask or take anti-allergy medicines in advance.
