Hello, Everyone. This is Michelle Yuan from Xi'an. It is a great honor to introduce myself to the worldwide travelers. I have quickly come to love TravelChinaGuide since I joined this company in 2012. Everyone here is enthusiastic and ready to help every traveler to make their trips to China unforgettable.

I joined this company directly after graduation, because I love traveling. I also like being a volunteer to help those who need help. I hope I can help many tourists to travel smoothly in China and share as much traveling information as possible with the worldwide visitors.

Before my college, I had few chances to go out because of disapproval from my family. They thought I should spare no effort to study without doing other activities. After entering college, I occasionally got a chance to go to the Terra Cotta Army, which left me with a deep impression. From then on, I began to love traveling.

My traveling started from Xi'an, the city in which I have lived for years. I spent a lot of time exploring every corner of this historical city with my friends. For me, wandering around the city is not only a travel experience, but also gives me the chance to get close to the city and know its history and deep culture.

Among all the places I have been to, the Shaanxi History Museum and the Muslim Quarter left me with deep impressions. The Muslim Quarter is near the Bell and Drum Towers and the best time to go there is at night. At that time, many snack bars can be found along the street while you are walking. It is a great place for people to know the dietary habits and food culture of Xi'an. If you are fond of history, Shaanxi History Museum cannot be missed. Relics belonging to different dynasties can be found there and from those relics you can have general ideas about Xi'an as well as Shaanxi’s history.

Besides knowing the culture and the history of different places, the traveling also gives me chances to know more and more people with different jobs. Every time when I finish traveling, I have always made some good friends as well. From them, I learn a lot. This is the treasure I obtained from traveling.

Now I am working and I have less time to go out than before, but I still catch every chance I can to go out. Sometimes, even hiking to some nearby mountain areas makes me feel refreshed after the daily work. I hope one day I can travel all over the country and even abroad to enjoy different cultures with my parents.
