Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Sincere greetings & airport-hotel transfer. Hutong visit.
Upon arrival at Beijing International Airport, please retrieve your luggage and clear customs. Our tour guide will then greet you outside the customs area and then escort you to our specially selected hotel. Then, have a Hutong tour with the traditional rickshaw.

Day 2 Beijing
Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven. (B)
Our clients visiting the Great Wall
Your private China vacation formally begins with the Tiananmen Square, the largest city center square in the world. We then walk for 15 minutes to reach the Forbidden City; this was the imperial palace for the Ming and the Qing dynasties (1368~1912). We leave lunch to be on your own choice; however, our tour guide will be glad to give you some advice on the abundant options nearby. In the afternoon, we visit the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing
Mutianyu Great Wall with a round-trip cable car, Olympic Bird's Nest. (B)
In the morning, we will drive out of the city to visit a popular and magnificent section of the Great Wall - Mutianyu. The round-trip cable car is included. You are advised to have lunch on your own. Following the morning activities, we will take you to visit a featured local market. On the way, we drive by the Bird's Nest(Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance at a distance.

Day 4 Beijing - Shanghai
Summer Palace, A high-speed train to Shanghai. Railway station-hotel transfer. (B)
Temple of Heaven
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and will be available to assist you with the check-out procedure. We then go to visit the Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal garden in the country. After that, our guide will see you off at the railway station for a high-speed train to Shanghai. After approximately a 4.5 hour train journey, you will arrive in metropolitan Shanghai. Our guide will meet you at the exit of the railway station and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 5 Shanghai
Shanghai Museum, Yu Garden, the Bund, Huangpu River cruise, an old cultural street. (B)
Shanghai Bund area
Our guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to visit the Shanghai Museum. A visit to the classical Yu Garden follows. In the afternoon we will transfer you to the Bund area where you will take a 1 hour boat cruise tour on the Huangpu River. We will leave you some free time to explore the Bund area on your own. Then we visit an ancient cultural street, which was developed from a local residence area to a new art zone combining artistic centers, exotic restaurants and bars.

Day 6 Departure from Shanghai
Zhujiajiao Water Town, Hotel-airport transfer & see you off. A pleasant trip home! (B)
After touring the ancient water town - Zhujiajiao, our guide and driver will escort you to the airport for your departure flight. We wish you a pleasant journey to your next destination!

April 5/6: Stockholm-BJ-Kuala Lumpur (7 hour stop, will not leave airport)
April 17: Kuala Lumpur-BJ

Yes that is ok as long as there are no other mainland china landings other than what you list above.

We are flying US-Australia-Indonesia-Shanghai-US.
Would we be eligible for the 72 TWOV rule since we are coming in from a different country, and only planning on staying 48 hours in Shanghai?

What is the best way to get to hongqiao railway station from longyang station?

You can take metro line 2 from Longyang Road Station to Hongqiao Railway Station directly. The trip takes around an hour on the way.

Upon landing, you are suggested to take maglev train to get to Longyang Road Station. It costs CNY 50 per person. Then transfer to metro line 2 to East Nanjing Road Station directly. :)

It will be rainy and cloudy and the temperature will drop a little. It may range from 10C to 30C. You need to take your thin sweaters, jacket and warm pants. Nice trip!
