Our trip was excellent and better than we could have hoped for. The hotels were first-rate and we were very impressed with the amenities and service in all of them. The food at all of the restaurants was excellent and we were always pleased to notice that the restaurants were patronized by local people rather than by tour groups. Each of our guides and drivers was very competent and helpful. I would certainly recommend TravelChinaGuide to anyone considering a trip to China. The only change I would suggest in the itinerary would be to spend a day less in Xian and a day more in Guilin. Guilin would have been a more interesting city in which to have more free time since the center area has so many lovely parks to wander through. ... More

I meant to write sooner to commend what excellent jobs this company did for our journey. As I had been on a similar experience before I have some reference to the level of service they provided. In all, I am very impressed by Nicole’s organizations of our activities and the professionalism their guides and drivers shown us. The hotels were excellent although the meals in some cases can be adjusted somewhat (I have noted those in our evaluation forms at each location). My daughters and I have had a great time. ... More

My friend and I visited in China with TCG. We received excellent service from the company and the journey was very, very good value for the price we paid. Everything was paid for and we hardly spent any money while during journey except for buying gifts etc. The hotels were super and the locations excellent. All breakfasts surpassed our expectations as well as the lunches provided by the company. The 2 shows included were amazing. We also appreciated the 2 bottles of water provided each day and especially the 2 free drinks with every lunch. The meals were really exceptional and the service very good. The guides (all of them ladies) were well informed and extremely helpful and pleasant. The visit to Guilin and the Li River cruise was a highlight for us. I can really recommend Travel China Guide to everyone who wish to visit China. We also received free group photos as a gift from the company. I must mention that it was a little cold outside while we were there and if I return (I hope to do so) I will travel in September/ early October, when the temperature is more moderate!! I have travelled extensively and I can honestly say it was the best organised, most relaxing tour and by far the best value for money. I must congratulate Travel China Guide with their excellent service all the way. ... More

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Travelchina for the wonderful service provided by the company and the various guides provided to us on our recent trip to Beijing, Xian, Guillin and Shanghai. We are very satisfied with their organisation and would not hesitate in using their service again or in recommending them to our friends and relatives in both Malaysia and Australia.

In particular, we would like to pass on our thanks and gratitude to the following guides and their drivers.
Winny Liu and her driver (Beijing)
Carol Chen and her driver (Xian)
William Liu and his driver (Guillin)
Xia Yi and her driver (Shanghai)

Every-one of them was very helpful and kind during our visit to their particular regions. Always they went out of their way to facilitate our trip and organise any additional requests. They were knowledgeable and communicated this knowledge well to us.

China has such a wonderfully rich and extraordinary history and geography - seeing the terracotta warriors, however, was one of the most memorable moments of our visit although it really is difficult to separate out so many marvelous moments as each region we visited had its own special sights and scenery.

All guides were very professional, helpful and fun to be with. Cindy in Beijing was amazing, Carol in Xi'an had a great personality and Mike in Shanghai was very knowledgeable.
Cars and vans were always clean and punctual. All drivers were neat with nice attitudes.

We had a great first visit to China. It was so nice to have all the details taken care of for us from hotel reservations, meals, tickets to shows, airport check-ins, and someone else did the driving! We don't usually book service, but this was well worth it.

The time we spent at each sightseeing spot seemed about right. The guides were usually flexible enough to change the amount of time if the group wanted a shorter visit. I think we were also able to skip some things per group request. It was also nice to have some free time on our own to just wander around whatever city we were in.

The meals were all pretty good. There was so much variety at each meal that there seemed to be something that everyone wanted to eat. It would have been nice to have some explanation of the some of the more interesting food. Sometimes the servers were able to tell us, and sometimes we just guessed. But overall, a fantastic experience!
