Normal train ticket from Nanchang to Jiujiang
I saw there is a high speed train ticket (where the second class ticket costs RMB39.5). The normal train ticket is the sleeper seat ticket. What about the normal seat ticket for a normal train?

The normal seat is not as good as second class seat on high speed rides. There are 5 seats in each row, 3 passengers sitting together on one side and 2 on the other side. There is no arm rest between. The two adjoining rows will set face to face. Thus for the 3 seats side, 6 passengers will share one table and on the 2 seats side, 4 passengers will share the same table. You may check some photos on this website
