The train booking service is good. The booking consultant always reply our email quickly. The train is fast and clean. The seat is comfortable. But we still have one thing want to complain. Just wish we can use our passports to check in, instead of collecting the paper tickets at train station. It is really boring to collect the paper tickets at train station.

TravelChinaGuide is doing a great job. They always have been helpful. I booked train tickets from Guangzhou South to Hong Kong, but went to wrong train station. I went to Guangzhou station, as this station is the nearest one my hotel. When I arrived there, the station told me I need to go the south station. It is lucky we catch the train at last 5min!

Thanks, I found it a useful service and have used it many times. Sometimes $US 5 seems a lot of money for what can be a $15 fare, but I have no idea how much effort is involved in booking a Chinese train that may be a great deal.

Only feedback specific to my trip: The idea that I can pick up tickets at “any station on the mainland needs a bit of refinement. For example, Shanghai Longyang Rd was my local station, and despite containing China’s ultimate train only tickets for the Maglev. I ended up having to collect from W. Kowloon and paying a second time. Another $US10.

It’s probably quite a bit quicker at Kowloon than the online advice would suggest. I arrived 30 min before my train and just made it, despite

    Not knowing what I’m doing
Needing a manual passport to collect and clear Customs, unlike 99% of travellers

We choose TravelChinaGuide to book train tickets for our trip in China, as I read lots of their positive reviews. After I booked train tickets through this site and finished our trips, it turned out that the booking service is as good as what I read. Next time, I will still book train tickets through this website.
