Running Route of Hong Kong - Shanghai High Speed Trains

 Hong Kong  - Guangzhou: This section is a part of Guangzhou - Shenzhen - Hong Kong Express Rail Link. The design speed of this part is 250 km/h (155 mph). This railway has been fully opened on September 23, 2018. Futian Railway Station and Shenzhen North Station are on this line.

 Guangzhou - Changsha: The design speed of this section is  300 km/h (186 mph). It is a part of Beijing - Guangzhou High Speed Railway.  

 Changsha - Shanghai: This section is the eastern beginning part of the Shanghai - Kunming High Speed Railway. This section came into service in 2010 with the operating speed of 300 km/h (186 mph). Passing-by stations of this section include Nanchang West and Hangzhou East.
