So far, there are about 13 pairs of flights flying from Shanghai to Hong Kong and vice versa on a daily basis, and the number may be increased in high season. In general, flight are more recommended to passengers with limited time and sufficient budget due to the relatively short journey time and the high prices; it is also a good bargain to buy a flight ticket when there is a special discount. On the other hand, high speed trains can be a good choice for passengers who have limited transportation budget.

A very easy to use booking system. The sleeper train went well and reached Shanghai as plan. Very impressed with the your quick and personal responses to my queries. Very impressed with your organisation in delivering the required ticket to my hotel in China, a result of the 30 day advance booking restriction. I would recommend your system to to anyone.

One thing is not clear and worried me at first, the ticket that I received did not contain either my name or passport number. So, why did your system require this information? Unless I have missed something and this information is not required, perhaps the form asking for the passport information could be removed from your system making life a little more simple for everyone....More

The booking experience through TCG booking center was very good. Everything was handled very professionally. I will definitely use, and recommend, this service in the future. My general impression on this train journey was great. From check in, waiting room, the platform, boarding and the train facilities were awesome. I am glad that I chose the train for my travel. I wish we have the similar type of train for traveling in US.

We were surpised how well organized the booking, ticker issue and the journey were. We don't have any negative experience, really. The service is absolutely reliable. Money was transfered without any problem. We were traveling during the China holiday, so we were really glad we can book the tickets in advance with TravelChinaGuide. Ticket issue was without any problem. I have never seen such a clean railway station and also train. There is hot water supply on the board for tea or instant food, we also bought some relatively cheap snack and drink. There is security check on the railway station, but it is less strict than on airports, normal scissors alowed for example....More

Thanks for the opportunity to provide some feedback. As you should already be aware, I am very satisfied with the booking process. The fact that I returned to you to book the flights for my next adventure should tell you that. Now, about this trip, a couple of notes are in order. As a first-time traveler in China, and more to the point, non-Chinese speaker, the guidance I received from you was very valuable, and allowed me to make seamless preparations and connections. The G-train is everything it is supposed to be. Fast, convenient, great leg room, and very clean. I enjoyed the flight on Shanghai Airlines as well. Good economy cabin, very attentive cabin crew, and decent food (although black coffee would have been nice).
I do have two hiccups in my travel to Suzhou and back however. I landed in Pudong Airport and needed to get to Hongquaio Train Station. I elected to take the Shanghai Metro, seeing that Route 2 (Green) went from one to the other. Well, that's what's on the map. The reality is that you must de-train twice in order to successfully navigate that stretch. If you hadn't steered me toward a later train, I would certainly have missed the connection. The second hiccup is the options from Suzhou Industrial Park Train Station (Suzhouyongqu). The best option is likely taxi, as the otherwise excellent Suzhou bus system seems less frequent than one might expect at a terminal. The train to HK worked well from Hongqiao Station as I am already known about it from previous trip.

Everything worked great. Extremely useful was the possibility to translate the ticket pickup info and the link where it is explained what means what on the train ticket. Without that it might have been difficult without speaking Chinese. So thanks for the fantastic service.
