It is better to leave at least 2 hours. It takes about 30-40 minutes to transport between the airport and the train station by airport express or bus. If you need to collect your luggage, then more time is needed. The visa will be checked at West Kowloon Station.

If your itinerary is Country A - Guangzhou - Country C, then you are eligible for the 144-hour visa-free transit. You only need to apply for a temporary entry permit and get a stamp at the Baiyun Airport.

No, you don't need HK visa. You can proceed to the ferry ticketing counter at Transfer Area E2. DO NOT go through immigration and reclaim your baggage. Passengers who have gone through immigration procedures CANNOT return to the ferry ticketing counter and use the ferry service.

visum free
From December 1, 2023, Dutch passport holders will receive visa-free entry for 15 day. Is it possible when we stay in Guangzhou to make a daytrip to Hongkong with the ferry and is it no problem to come back to China?

Theoretically, it is possible. However, the new rule has not been operated yet and we don't know what it will work out.

I checked with the agency where you normally apply for Chinese visas. They say this is not a problem.
And the reason for visa exemption is to give tourisme a boost, so I don't think they make some problems.
