Mudanjiang Railway Station is about 9.5 kilometers (6 miles) away from Mudanjiang Hailang Airport, about  75 kilometers (43 miles) to Snow Town and about 90 kilometers (56 miles) from Jingpo Lake Scenic Area.

Mudanjiang Train Station is built as a comprehensive station along Harbin-Mudanjiang High Speed Railway Line, Shenyang-Jiamusi High Speed Railway Line and Harbin-Suifenhe Railway Line, which operates both normal speed trains and high speed trains from/to Beijing, Tianjin, Harbin, Qiqihar, Changchun, Shenyang, Jilin, Dalian and more cities.

Mudanjiang Railway Station consists of two terminal buildings: the North Terminal Building is designed for high speed trains with 4 platforms and 7 tracks and the South Terminal Building is designed for normal speed trains with 4 platforms and 10 tracks. The exit is on the South Terminal Building and the entrances can be found by passengers in both terminal buildings.
 

Passengers can take any of the following buses to the railway station:
To Railway Station bus stop: Mudanjiang Hailang Airport shuttle bus
To Railway Station East bus stop: No.1, 5, 6, 9, 16, 20, 29, 99, 101, 102, 201, 202, MuChai Express Line
To Railway Station West bus stop: No.3, 5, 7 8, 12, 13, 16, 17, 21, 24, 62, 99, 101, 102, 201, 202, 401 ,402, Hailang Buidui Line 9, Shuanglong Village Line 21, Haozhifang Line 21, Yingmenshan Line 24
 

Passengers can take a shuttle from the railway station to Jingpo Lake Scenic Area directly, and it costs CNY25 and takes about 2 hours. The shuttle is scheduled to depart from 07:00 on once full.
 

Passengers can walk to the Mudanjiang Xiluda International Hotel (jiu hao gong guan) which is located on the opposite side of the railway station, then taka a tourism bus to Snow Town Tourism Service Center. The bus departs at 7:30am and arrives at 11:30 am. It costs CNY50 for each person.
 

There are three options for passengers to Mudanjiang Hailang Airport:
1.    Take bus No. 21/ Haozhifang Line 21 to Airport bus stop, which is about 800 meters (875 yards) from the airport. It will take 55minutes in total and cost CNY1.
2.    Passengers can also take a Mudanjiang Hailang Airport shuttle to the airport directly, and it costs CNY10 in 35 minutes. But the shuttle only departs at 7:00, 12:00, 14:00 and 19:00.
3.    Take a taxi at cost of CNY20 within 20 minutes.
