How to get to Shantou Train Station from downtown area
There are two city bus stops near the station:
1. To Shantou Train Station bus stop: No. 4, 39, 41, 63, 102K, 123, 161K, K1, K2, K3, K4, K5, K6, K7, 107 Bus Line, Shantou Railway Station – Chaoyang District Government
2. To Railway Station bus stop: No.2, 6, 8, 11, 11(Holiday Line), 12, 22A, 38, 40, 41, 42,103, 106, 123
How to get to Symbolic Tower of the Tropic of the Cancer:
1. Passengers can take bus No. 161K to Tourist Center bus stop and then transfer to No.601 the Tropic of the Cancer Square bus stop. It costs CNY18 in total and needs about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
2. You can also take a taxi and it will cost about CNY 160.
How to get to Queshi Scenic Spot:
1. Take bus No.11 to Wutian cun bus stop which is about 900meters (985 yards) from the scenic spot, and then walk southward, turn left at the crossroad, then walk to the place. The duration may be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
2. It takes just 30 minutes for passengers to get there by taxi and it costs about CNY45.
How to get to Jieyang Chaoshan Airport:
There is a Chaoshan Airport Shantou City Terminal Building neighbouring Shantou Railway Station. There, passengers can take Airport East Line to get to the airport directly. It takes 50minutes and costs CNY28.
How to get to Chaoshan Railway Station:
1. Take bus 39 to Shantou Coach Station, then transfer to High Speed Express East Line 1 to Chaoshan Railway Station. It takes about 80 minutes and CNY22.
2. A taxi raide takes about an hour and CNY100.
